For a moment, the three robots in the second shot, I thought were watching Ironhide & Prowl get killed, thou the background doesn't fit the moment when they were shot by SS using Megatron as that belongs to the Decepticons as it was their entry point, or is there some alterative movie where the Autobots attack the shuttle and get killed?

Probably for the best if there aren't...I have the feeling that if the CyberNet Space Cube showed up, everyone would think it was the Borg and panic or something...

Thing is, back in the Vector Prime days, that's probably canon in SOME continuity...

Guys who were issued goggles despite having absolutely no need for goggles.
The cool thing about this style of Cobra Viper is that they give you so much gear per figure you can mix and match and keep them looking unique. The bandannas, guns, the arm gauntlets, the backpack, and the goggles are all removable or interchangeable. So you can go to town, mixing and matching to give each a unique look. The goggles go along with that and add more options for a bit of visual flare, but they make zero sense :p

Honestly, I'm not even much of a GI Joe fan. I just find Cobra stuff neat. But I am blown away by how much stuff Hasbro can pack into a six inch figure at mass retail prices when they don't have to spend part of the budget paying Disney for the privilege.

Since I had Cybershark out for the first time since he's been put away (January 6, 2022 per his storage bag), figured take some comparisons shots. (Posted as Thumbnails)

The new mold can't hold the original launcher. :(

I have to wonder if we will see a Selects Cybershark at some point, since there's not much else they can do to reuse that mold.
