I mean, we did call him "Giant Decepticon Soldier" rather than "Kyōdai Destron Heishi" back in the pre-AVP days. I do miss the fun non-Juniper attempts at transliterating characters that never appeared in English-language media, such as "Lard-o-Lata" and "Violin Juggler"....
