The transformation is a bit labor intensive and his face is a little wonky. I do love his jet mode and the face situation was fixed with Thundercracker's new head.

I did end up canceling my TF1 Soundwave. I might pick one up later but didn't see a need to be first in line for something I'm not even sure I want.

I was disappointed with Airachnid. I really wanted to like her and thought that her alt mode was interesting. Ultimately, I just don't enjoy transforming her, and will probably donate her toy.

So I know we are getting a decently remolded Mirage in the 3 pk... but I kinda want them to do a new Mirage that actually looks like the G1 Toy/Animation model becuase the current Mirage just looks out of place next to all the others that look like they stepped out of the cartoon.

Also would love a new Tracks that is actually a good toy.

Yeah, i wish they'd sprung for a new Mirage that doesn't have this new transformation approach. I mean, why start now.

Or maybe this is one of those "last chance for this mold" things and they will make a new one. Hard to say anymore.

I'm a little surprised that they haven't taken another proper stab at Mirage. However, I look at that Tracks on my shelf and I'm still bummed about it. Just some really odd design choices that don't work but car mode is alright (flight mode is a mess).

Tracks is fine so long as you don’t actually have to play or interact with him in anyway.

Tracks kinda works if you either get really lucky or can somehow modify yours so that the tolerances on the legs work just right to hold their positions in robot mode... but even then it's kind of tenuous. Something I'm sure looked solid enough as a CAD model but didn't really work at all once it had to become a real, physical object that had to account for tolerances and minor production variances.

I'd be all for another go at Tracks, but I do worry that if they do, Road Rage won't get another go. It seems like the era of Diaclone repaints has passed us by, and my OCD will be majorly annoyed if Tracks and Road Rage aren't sharing a base mould.

Don't worry, She's red. That makes her Prime Fodder for continuing to be a Target exclusive.

Hasbro seems to have skipped that with this Tracks. But that might be because they realized what a mess that mold was.

I'd also like to see a yellow Tracks.

I will second a Binaltech yellow Tracks, along with Loudpedal black and Road Rage red. Kinda want Alternators Battle Ravage, too. And maybe a couple other colors for good measure, if they have a decent mold to wear them.

Target.com had SS86 Prowl briefly in stock again today, and emailed me and even already had it in my cart to make it easy to buy. Put in the order and it's already said it's shipping, so makes me hopeful they might finally get some more stock in for both him and Starscream.
