Figured we could have a thread for the announced SDCC 2026 exclusives.


First, we have Blaster with the Kiss Player cassettes in a Jem Collab.

And then we have a Legacy G1 Prime in toon colors with a toon head, a trailer, Roller, and a mini Jazz as a cereal homage.

what the hug do you mean they're not only giving us the kiss players cassettes, but their names are all being ******* prefixed with KP

like i know this isn't the first KP homage/update modern hasbro has done but what the hug

Somehow, Kiss Players returned.

And I'm all for it! The cassettes were the best part of the line as far as I'm concerned. I would've preferred WfC molds over SS86, but whatever.

I've got about 12 emergencies going on this afternoon, but I had to stop by and mention how crazy excited I am about the cereal box. To quote myself from just a couple of months ago:

That reminds me. I would pay top dollar for a Transformer based on the unreleased cereal box.

The cassettes from KP are cool! I have the originals, but I wouldn't mind some updated versions.
Does the Jazz actually transform? It looks like it has some seams, at least.

How hard have SDCC exclusives been to get for non-attendees?

I'm glad Prime was able to find work in advertising after the war.

Neat how Blaster's instrument transforms!

I wanted that Prime with more paint and a trailer, but this is not at all what I meant. But I have a thing for weird G1 merchandise, so I'll still be putting this on my wish list.

On some level I'm wondering if that strangely proportioned Jazz is a mold prequel to a future Voyager class Pretender Classic, like how there was a shellless Classic Jazz back in the old Kmart days. He certainly looks like an updated version of that old stubby model. We know they're thinking of Thunderwing, didn't he fight the Classic Pretenders once?

There has to be a reason for those proportions. That can't have just happened on its own.

It's fairly accurate to the G1 toy, so maybe that's all they were going for? I would love to have that Jazz, but I'm not sure I can justify the price tag I'm seeing for it, even with the bonus Optimus figure...

Blaster and the KP trio, on the other hand, seem like an absolute steal.

Also, getting an updated Rosanna reminds me I need an updated Flip Sides...
