Well, it's Starforce and Zero.

I didn't play Starforce or Battle Network Exe (Nytetrayn, you're doing a Battle Network story. Do I need a game background to read it?).

I'm not wild about Zero but I do like Harpuia, Fafnir, Leviathan and the ninja. And the mutaloidswhatevernotMavericks are pretty cool.

Does Blokee have the dinosaur mindset of female figures not selling? Leviathan would sell out otherwise.

Well, my wallet is marked safe from these, but i doubt much time passes without classic representation.

I'm just glad these appear to capture the look, rather than stylizing it like their Marvel stuff and I think the toku (ultraman and sentai) stuff to some degree. The seemingly greater likelihood of the 4in/Galaxy scale being the main venue has given me pause because I'm not a fan of how those have been executed, and the headsculpts on the TF stuff in that range as well. But these look nice.

I like to think not, but I dunno. I've heard some say that Legends was easy reading with no prior knowledge required, and other act like it was only for the hardcore.

I think it will (hopefully) serve as a decent introduction without going full exposition.

Oh, I did watch a... Battle Network movie. The biggest thing I remember is the main guy Lan (?) getting a copter blade on his back to fly after copying an adult Gyro Man Exe. Loved that look.

Also Bass Exe was there. Other than those, I forget everything about it.

Are the Battle Network onwards anime worth watching? I haven't seen Fully Charged either but not likely to cuz I heard it ends in a cliffhanger.

The NT Warrior anime, I only saw through Axess and the movie. The rest never came over, and I don't know if the successive seasons were ever subbed. They sure weren't when I quit watching, as I recall.

I'm really enjoying Star Force on Capcom's YouTube channel.

I really like Fully Charged, though it takes a bit to really start to get good, in my opinion. Like, the early stuff is okay kids fare, but it's when Wood Man first appeared that things started to get interesting for me. That was about 18 episodes in, I think? Mind, the episodes are also those 11-minute type.

I didn't get to finish the series, though. We were doing a podcast called The Fully Charged Podcast over on The Mega Man Network (myself, Protodude, and ShadowRockZX usually), but stuff happened, and we didn't get to continue. I want to go back to it myself, but my schedule hasn't really worked out for that.

I liked the NT Warrior anime back when I was watching it on Kids WB. I think it's a enjoyable time. But, I suppose it depends on if you enjoy Pokemon or Beyblade level anime? It is pretty episodic. I don't think it will blow you away, but I think it can be enjoyed, if you have the right mindset for it.

Although, there's also the NT Warrior manga, as a alternative. It...might be harder to track down than the anime is, at this point. But, it IS out there. Somewhere. And I think all of it did come out in English. And it does seem to cover the ENTIRE anime, even the parts we didn't get dubbed. It's probably different than the anime, just due to not having the same amount of time to expand on plot beats. But, it might be worth seeing if you can check it out.

As for Fully Charged, yeah it does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. But, there is a 6-issue comic that finishes things off. That might be getting harder to find, too. But, again, it is out there. And I think some of the redesigns are fun enough to check the series out once. Fully Charged is still worth checking out, if you can.

I don't think the manga and anime have anything to do with each other, besides sharing the Viz branding and name changes across everything they licensed.

And yeah, all of the manga came out in English, as I recall -- I'm pretty sure I've got all of it.

The manga is more Shonen style stuff, I'd say -- rivals and getting stronger and all that fun.

Both follow the stuff in the games, but do it in very much their own way.

I'll go over the Mega Man show stuff later but the 20 robot master finalists for Dual Override are out! Voting will be over by next week.

There's only three female robot master finalists listed.
Spiral Woman
Vac Woman
Sweeper Woman

While it's possible there's already a female Robot Master in the roster, I'd like to vote for one now, to pave the way for new ones.

I mean, Splash Woman was in 9 but Honey Woman got bumped by Hornet Man in 10. 11 had no female representation at all (Tundra Man does not count for that, haha! He was awesome tho, hehe. He was my fave in 11).

Anyhow, from the three, Spiral Woman's text is too vague. Is she a feather duster? The text is hard to read. She makes friends easily?

Sweeper Woman looks great but the maid outfit is too generic. The blank eyes makes me think of Marie from Skull Girls too.

Vac Woman looks evil but at least is more unique. And if they use the listed backstory, it has more story. She used to work in a maid cafe but rebelled. Plus she's not just about cleaning, she attacks with music too. Is she a Gothic Lolita? I dunno.

Anyhow, you have to register to vote. I'm campaigning for Vac Woman!

Good news for the digital crowd!

And of course, everyone here already knows what Neon Ichiban is, because you regularly read the front page... right?

Well, just in case you need a refresher:

Guess the winner of the robot master contest will be announced soon.

For something a little different, my friend tag my Timelines issues and wanted to do a comic dub of X. It's actually more fun to do the mavericks but he got to do Chill Penguin and I got X. I told him there are official voices but (Day of Sigma) but we were just having fun, hehe

Don't suppose I could ask for a subscribe? We're at 99 and just one will get us to triple digits, haha

No updates until next month. They'll contact the six finalists this Friday, and in March we'll see who those six turned out to be. But the final winner is still a tentative date of "we'll tell you when"

Nice job!
Thanks! I really wanted to go Chill Penguin's voice over X though, haha

There's controversy with one of the entries but, urgh, I dunno if Capcom knows about it.

Saw this cool pic showing the final six of the Robot Masters contest. I guess Vac Woman didn't make the cut, maybe because of the controversy.

Honestly, Vac Woman is more exciting to see than Sweeper Woman, who looks boring. But unless there's already another Woman among the seven, then I'm hoping Sweeper Woman gets in.

Of the others, Cleanser Man is visually amazing. Valve Man is very heroic and appealing. But Juggle Man is incredibly imaginative and I hope he gets the spot IF there's no other Woman in the roster.

You folks have choices?
