Transformers: Cyberworld, Mirage's Eleven

Yeah, the previous episode ended with Optimus having some kind of PTSD, while this one begins with everyone right in the middle of another game challenge. Feels like we missed an episode or something.

This show feels like someone thought "What are kids into these days? Fortnite? Minecraft? Maybe we can make a Transformers series that has some video game things in it." which wouldn't necessarily have bad results, but what we've got seems very disjointed.

I think that's exactly what it is, and they've been doing okay. The disjointed feel is less from that and more from the in medias res start of the series that has them piecing together the past, and this latest episode seemingly not continuing from the cliffhanger of the last one.

Maybe we were supposed to get a new episode last week and whoever uploaded this one didn't notice that we got a compilation instead.

It did seem odd that we got another compilation seemingly so soon after another, but then my sense of time has flown even further out the window in the last few weeks

And they're trying to get Optimus back up to level after being attacked by Eagleton Ron? Why don't the others just throw the match?

Episode 14 by itself (w/ a video title that is SO CLOSE to the episode's actual title):

So I guess slag as a curseword is back on the table.
I'm not hearing "slag" in the episode. The closest instances I can find are when Bee says, "About to be blasted to scrap, here, guys!" and when Mirage says, "The key is, when the rag hits the fanbelt, we gotta stay cool."

I especially wouldn't expect this show to be the one to bring back "slag" as a swear because this show's voice cast is predominately British, the very people who took issue with the use of "slag" to begin with.

I hear rag, alongside a electrical sparking noise. It's not a roll-y r, flowing from "the" (so it's like "thurrag").

Also the video has captions.

Also the video has captions.
Auto-generated, though. He says "fanbelt" but the captions right there in that pic say "band belt" instead.

And earlier, when Bee called Mirage a "Show off", the captions incorrectly claimed he said, "Shut up".

Just listened to it on a different device, and the comparatively tinny speakers do make the electrical zap blend with the word, so I can imagine how it might sound like "slag" to someone.

Earpods separate the sounds better and it's "rag". Even slowed down as suggested, the electrical sound is clearly in the background and the vocal says th'rag, with the potentially misleading zapping noise in the vowel gap between words.

But really, it's white and gold.

And, really, would the British be the ones to bring back the word that they themselves fought to get Hasbro to get rid of?
