It's a pretty nice take on Slugslinger. I might've gone even darker with it (basically blue tinted charcoal) but that might be what it already looks like in person.

He might not be as dark as that, but The flash does makes them both a little brighter then they actually are.

The facespace reminded me I posted a chunk of an old comic years ago.

Spoiler, not for the Context, but for the extensive lamentation:
My hard drive crashed in 2010 and I lost my photo comics wholesale. While they weren't James Roberts quality writing, I put a lot of work into them, and was actually proud of a few. I had been hosting some on the bucket of piss, then a poster on the site I've been sharing them set up his own hosting site. The site decided to break after I had been hosting my pics there for a bit[, and with it, breaking any image links. I somehow ended up finding almost everything: full comics, short jokes comics ("pointless filler") in-universe profiles, re-dos of (much) older comics, crossovers with other board comics, with 2 numbered comics, I 'remastered' and 3 strips leading to the BotCon 2006 'Board Wars' being unaccounted for. This piece was from number 92, and 94 was my last full comic from the series. I still have the shots for what would been #95 and the script for it in my head.

I stopped doing those photo comics for reasons; got a new job, the corner of my old job was where I did all my shooting (still worked part time), got an Xbox 360, so a lot of things.

I missed doing them. They were a great creative exercise. I was building a universe, creating characters, I was creating lore, and planning devastating events for what originally started as a stupid photo comic about people on a message board with a tortured attempt at a punchline all with my unreasonable collection of toys and a crap camera that didn't even have a preview screen.

I wanted to lament, but started reminiscing. If you happened to have read this, thank you./SPOILER]

I read it. And as someone who's lost files and such (and is paranoid about it happening again), I totally get that. Especially since it's creative work, which ups the value of each bit just that much. I'm glad you managed to find so much of it again.

Looks like a stage play.
"Forsooth! Shall one stand, whilst the other falleth?"

"Yon life! Why dost thou throw it away so recklessly?"

"It is thee who should ask thine self of that very question, Megatron!"

Great. Now I want an Optimus and Megatron voiced by Jeff Bennett and Rob Paulsen.

Also, this post is a far more clever reference to that scene than any other time that that TFTM quote has been reiterated in any other actual TF media.
