Is that a Walmart that has had Generations all along?

I ask because several of the Walmarts closest to me got rid of Generations a few months ago and have only had Earthspark and TF One toys since.

-Zacwilliam, there are many Walmarts in the state but not sure which have keep Generations on shelf.
Walmart is ALWAYS a YMMV situation. Mine TECHNICALLY carries Generations deluxe, Voyager and Leader, but haven’t restocked in months, and have simply filled over the pegs of Devastation Prime and Retro Gears to fill the space. I’m not even sure they ever even stocked leaders TBH.

So either a bunch of stuff is buried in the back, or this store will dump them with the next reset. Hard to even tell the difference anymore.

Every Wal-Mart I've visited lately has had no new product whatsoever. Justifies all of my online preorders, and depresses me at the same time.

Walmarts around me are weird - stores across town or in neighboring cities have drastically different selections.

All I remember seeing for the last month or so was Studio Series TF:One toys. (Oh - and Retro Gears. And maybe Devastation Optimus.) I've seen other lines up until that point, but they let the shelves get pretty sparse.

My local WM and Target are also the two closest iterations of those stores to a college town, so I just generally assume that thanks to college kids working there very little of the good stuff makes it to the sales floor, and if it does it doesn't stay there long.

Excellion just shipped from Walmart. Sideways, on the other hand, just got cancelled due to an "inventory issue". Hate Walmart...

At least it's Cybertron Sideways and not the Armada version. That's the one I really want.

You're apparently the first to report a US shipping confirmation for either of those toys, as elsewhere there is talk of Walmart having possibly backed out of carrying the Cybertron capsule line in the US. But your confirmation is the first glimmer of hope for the line to have not been fully canceled.

Interesting. I guess I'll have to report back if and when it actually arrives then. It's supposedly in Reno and due to arrive Tuesday.

I found a second report of another Excellion preorder shipping, but also another Sideways preorder canceled. So, I guess we're now firmly in a "wait and see" position.

I just hope these two were far enough along that they wouldn't be affected by that cancellation. Shame about future items though, hope they can find a home for them elsewhere.

Really more mid2000s stuff would be a joy to get. Universe 1.0, Battle in a Box, Robotmasters, Unicron Trilogy...

But give me my goddamn Excellion before anything else.

This week I got Alchemist Prime, I love this figure but would like Maccadum colours in a update., there's actually potential for a Cyberverse line up.
I also Got Sky Byte, it get's a 9/10 from me because there's no spark crystal but don't ignore the 9 solid points there, it's near perfect.
I also Got Onyx Prime just recently from Hasbro Pulse - it's one fantabulous figure, he's my current fave. of the line.
Next: Star Convoy, I've heard some angst on this one having thin plastic and all but it may be worthwhile.

Just received both Ramhorn & Ratbat and the Devastation trooper pack from Target today.

Definitely appreciate Ramhorn. He just feels surprisingly big despite still fitting in the usual cassette size. Very possibly my least favorite cassette bot in general, but his toy's a winner. Ratbat is fine. Not sure I really like the new deco as much, but the backpack allowing him to stay upright much easier is a nice improvement.

I'm less impressed with the Devastation guys. Definitely feels like there may be some mold degradation going on. The seeker's body and arms just don't want to hold together in robot mode very well. Jet mode's ok thanks to the extra post-hole connections with the arms. The ground soldier is worse. Not sure if I'm just missing a connection point, but the whole back end of the car doesn't secure well. That wouldn't be too big of a deal, but the car roof also refuses to stay in place and pops up as soon as I let go of it. Ruins the look of the car mode. Never had that problem with Runabout or Runamuck. Curious to see if these are widespread or if I'm just lucky.

I was also ready to report that they gave me two of the same sword instead of a matched pair. Then I realized the side posts were only both facing the same direction because I had him holding one of the swords backwards. 😅

I didn't know there was a new Ramhorn and Ratbat? I knew about the Ramhorn reissue with Bombshell in the Retro line. Is the Ratbat a reissue of the Siege style one, or a new sort? I'm way behind in the news for some reason.

Reason I'm wondering is my nephew discovered, by accident, that a modern style cassette will fit (loosely) in the old Soundwave and Blaster (he for some reason liked the WalMart reissues for those the best).

And that's the last time I saw my modern-style Rumble and Frenzy. I suspect the two events are related...but he doesn't have a Ratbat at all.
