They and their proxies have already started on this. There is a desperate spin going including an oped in USAToday saying this still isn't as bad as Joe Biden and his son's laptop.
The level of 'whataboutism' is the worst I've ever seen as are the leaps in logic made trying to downplay and defend this.

At the end of the day, this should be a disqualifying event for every person involved. Every one is knowingly and willfully breaking the law and sharing highly dangerous classified information on an unauthorized platform with the explicit purpose of avoiding records keeping.

I didn't think about it before, but here's some ammunition to file away. Trump has said a lot of times that there was never a terrorist attack on US soil in his first term. It wasn't true, even by his own word, but anyway.

His justification for deporting anyone that looks like they could be a member of a Venezuelan gang (and a lot of people look kinda like that) is that they are a terrorist organization. So if they have done any crimes (I guess they have?) then he's got a lot of terrorist attacks.
