Minnesota is currently bowing to his whims by adding "Trump Derangement Syndrome" to the list of mental illnesses.

So guess what happened with one of the authors of this bill?

That's right, later the same day he was caught in a police pedophile catching operation:

Things don't usually go this well this fast. A broken system is right twice a day, I guess.

So, Trump's proxies have basically told the federal courts to go hug themselves. They're refusing to comply with orders from the judiciary now.
This is in addition to Trump trying to declare Biden's pardons null because he used an 'autopen'.

We are well into the Constitutional crisis. What happens next is anyone's guess. We are in full on new territory.

Ask Alan Dershowitz what happens next. He is still Trump's unofficial legal strategist.

Was just coming here to post that. The friggin' courts are the ONLY thing that is keeping the US halfway sane right now.

I really doubt it is actually a step clearing the way to reintroduce segregation.

If Biden were still President, I would say segregated facilities are such old news that it isn't worth explicitly mentioning in a contract anymore. Why keep mentioning it forever? But Biden isn't President anymore. Trump is. Someone along the way here would have to be aware that this will look alarming coming from this group and they did it anyway. It COULD be to try to get the media to rant about something that isn't actually important, it COULD be non-Trump fan using the letter of the law to justify embarrassing Trump, it could be a sort of dog whistle for the benefit of Proud Boys and such to basically say "Nothing we can do about the states, but we did what we could".

It is, at the very least, proof that Trump really is THAT racist and isn't even bothering to disguise it anymore. That's not a dogwhistle, it's a 1812 Overture cannon.

Trump is racist. He's an old white guy that has always believed white people were on top because they try harder or because they have a culture more conducive to success. He sees any check or correction of that as cheating.

But just like a bunch of other stuff lately, there is no indication that he was aware of it. Trump 45 was a lazy man who did very little work. Trump 47 is a lazy man who is letting other people do work. There's no executive order ordering this. It seems to be someone at some level's interpretation of rooting out DEI stuff from our government. There seems to have been no announcement of it. There are an army of watchdogs monitoring everything right now so we don't miss anything and that's why we didn't miss it.

Segregation is illegal. There is no actual function to insisting that you have to be desegregated to do business with the Federal Government and there hasn't been for a long time. No one took it out because whoever does it is going to have people saying this stuff, but there is no reason for it to be in there anymore and the next President isn't going to put it back in.

I can't name 5 Supreme Court Justices that would vote to overturn Brown v Topeka Board of Education. I can't name 1 that I think is reasonably likely.

The White House this week forced Amtrak CEO Stephen Gardner to step down as head of the U.S. passenger railroad after President Donald Trump sought the changes, two sources told Reuters.
Gardner said on Wednesday he will resign immediately, ending more than four years as head of the railroad, citing concerns about maintaining the carrier's support from the Trump administration.

Following up on populist promise to release all the redacted records about JFK, those documents were all released. Including a document from the 90s with the names and SSN of people who had made requests to see the records.

The White House says they will give credit monitoring to the people affected and will give them new SSN.

Tell me what you can do a good job at if you can't do this?

At some point, records necessary to prove people's existence are going to start straight-up disappearing. Maybe through similar acts of incompetence, maybe on purpose with a pattern of incompetence as a cover. Either way, this is a bad sort of time to be having to bring a bunch of unique, irreplaceable documents to a government office to try to straighten things out, especially if you're the sort of person they don't like.

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Luthan Rael would said this was good.
So... immigration officials that can arrest and deport you without due process being allowed to come into your home without a warrant, provocation or warning... is a good thing?
