Even Fox News has started calling Trump out on how he's handling Ukraine..... Combine that with the slowly growing protest movement and I do have a little hope that things might be starting to shift in the right direction. Wish it would happen fast enough that we could see Trump behind bars before he has a coronary or a stroke, but...
As much as I'd love to see him face comeuppance before he keels over, and as much as I know his death won't really solve the systemic problems that allowed all of this to happen in the first place......Just never having to see or hear from him ever again would be a reward in its own right.

Granted the project in question has some serious issues BUT the people want more transportation options and the current administration obviously doesn't care. It's things like this that are starting to pile up and getting normally apathetic people angry. Assuming we can keep Musk and his minions out of the voting machines, 2026 might be a bloodbath for the Republicans(or at least I can hope). Democrats better take the right lessons from 2024 and come out FIGHTING next year like they never have before. Point out the damage the current administration is causing and DON'T LET THE THEM FORGET IT.
A party having the White House and both sides of Congress and not taking a drubbing at midterms is very unusual and the reasons are usually milder than this. And we're only a month in. Even though you technically need 60 seats to control the Senate and the Freedom Caucus makes it very tight in the House, in the public eye there will be no excuse for not taking care of whatever each voter's top issue is. It can't be managed by a good President.

Here's one of those issues someone could make a sweating superhero pushing buttons about. In Trump's first flashy month of deporting people, he deported less than Biden averages last year. Trump is flashy because he has arrested 3 times as many inside the US, but Biden still deported more because he was sweeping up so many more at the border. I guess the Trump administration would say they have gotten tough so less immigrants are trying to sneak in and it could be that is true, but he also said Biden just let them in.

Yes, Musk did cause a lot of problems when he tried this email bullshit at twitter. And he did have to rehire a great deal, got sued a lot, lost money. But it was one of his ketamine fueled 'brilliant ideas' so of course he'd try it again.
