My wife has that ability to bring up a bill or something the second story starts. Couldn't have been during the silent loading screen either.

Eventually, a new threat leads both villains A and B into the enemy lair.

Elswehere, former villain B has also given up his plans for world domination and decided to become a part-time ally of the good guys.

Former villain A has abandoned his evil ways and decided to become an anti-hero of sorts.
