and so ends another adventure of link and zelda, and that silly ol pig beast ganon
it was a fun game and i was never bored. the main story was kinda meh, and the divine beat "dungeons" were...interesting. i really liked just running around, hunting for shrines and doing side quests. every now and then id be "oh yeah. theres a main quest to this game. better go do something for it" lol though if they go the temple route again, please dont do so many. 120 is a bit much. they ended up being like starbucks-one on every corner lol
but best of all there was no water temple!! woo!! i think they hire the most sadistic people they can to come up with those things and i was glad to give it a miss this time.
my biggest complaint though is with the voices. either go all out or dont do it at all! nothing more annoying than hearing one half of a conversation while reading the other half (master sword memory). i mean, youve already GOT the actors, youre already paying them, lets hear an entire conversation! i can understand every single person in the game not having a voice, but its almost unforgivable to KNOW there are voices but the cut scenes (i.e. memories) dont use them! those couldve been so much better with the right readings. as is, theyre just things that happen. imagine actually HEARING zeldas voice break as she tries to hold back tears when link is done in by a guardian and taken to the temple of resurrection. or hearing the annoyance in her voice when she finds out link has been appointed her personal guard. HUGELY missed opportunity in my opinion
oh and next game, can we go back to twilight princess style graphics? not that i didnt like the cartoonish look of botw, but tp looked the best to me
