I can argue with people about my versus their memory of events when verifiable facts are not readily available, though, and I get really annoyed when I'm capable of presenting a precise, step-by-step summary with multiple key points that can be used for future verification, and the other person just goes "nope, wrong" without going into detail.

I'm not arguing with either of those two statements, but they're not really connected. Mandela Effect is, to oversimplify, people being widely mistaken about what they think *is* a verifiable fact. Nothing to do with opinions.

My own theory is that these people are simply mixing up Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko, another South African anti-Apartheid activist, who did indeed die in police custody in 1977. There was an Oscar-nominated movie about his life starring Denzel Washington that came out in 1987, the same time frame these people claim remembering Mandela dying.

Anyways, this seems like it could be a phenomenal outlet to slip in some lower profile Marvel Universe folks. Guys that can have their powers show up on a TV show and not have the budget be stupid. This thing could end up being very, very good.

That's what I'm hoping for. Marvel Universe based Easter eggs, cameos and Grade D to Z heroes and villains.

Give me the Goldbugs and Blizzards, the Black Knights and Dr. Druids. Clay Quatermain and Doc Sampsons.

As this is a TV show Marvel should be able to use any character they want.

I can't imagine them doing so but the possibility is there.

Hey, any chance that Circuit Breaker, with new origins/goals might make this show? Its an off character I could see being used.

It's a character they theoretically could use but I honestly think she's too obscure to likely occur to them.

-ZacWilliam, maybe if someone ( anyone) used her in the comics first. She'd REALLY make an awesome Iron Man Villian IMO if you slotted him into the Blackrock spot in her origin...
