Another round of thoughts.
Some theorize that Time Force was born out of Space Patrol Delta and that SPD was born out of Bio-Lab, especially with Sky's father having used the Time Force powers when he was a Red SPD Ranger. Well, what if Grid Battleforce was another step in that development? As in, what if GB was born out of Bio-Lab and evolved into SPD?
If so, then it's possible that Wes Collins could have been among Grid Battleforce's founders, as he was working with Time Force in their creating the Transportal Devices that were used during Super Ninja Steel to connect the main universe with those of RPM, Dino Charge, and Lord Drayvon's dimension. This technology is also used by Grid Battleforce, so if Wes was involved in establishing GB, it would make sense for them to have access to both this tech and Ranger weapons from not only other universes (RPM and Dino Charge) but also from the future (SPD) since Wes is evidently still in contact with Time Force in the 31st century.
After all, going by both my previous post and the fact that Nate was both still a child when he first got his hands on the RPM morphers and already working for GB at the same time, GB would have already existed as early as 2013, during Megaforce's first year. That means GB was around even during the time of the Mega War and the Legendary Battle. In fact, GB existing back then would make them a likely candidate for who created Tommy's Master Morpher, which he probably had during the Legendary Battle since that episode implied that he had access to White Ranger powers at the same time as his Green Ranger powers. It would also make GB the ones who most likely restored or recreated any lost ranger powers that were utilized during the Legendary Battle.
Yet, while the Transportal Devices weren't created until 2017 (as far as we know), the fact that Scott first crossed over from RPM's universe to the main one back in 2012, and that the Samurai Rangers were aided by the RPM Rangers (and likely Dr. K) in returning back to the main universe, means that Dr. K likely reached out to the main universe not long after RPM's series finale. Since Grid Battleforce had to already exist in 2013, it could have been GB that Dr. K main first contact with.
In fact, it could have even been from Dr. K and her research that Nate even first got the idea of mixing animal DNA with Ranger tech since that's what Dr. K did in her creating each of the RPM zords. Dr. K is also very familiar with the curriculum of the Ranger History Class that was mentioned a few times by Nate and Ravi, so she could have played a role in creating that class, further suggesting a history of involvement with GB for her.
And if Dr. K made contact with GB, that could have sparked GB's interest in seeking out other universes to make contact with, which could have led to them eventually making contact with the Dino Charge universe, explaining how that universe was already in contact with both the main and RPM universes by the time of "Dimensions in Danger" in 2018, as that universe had had no inter-dimensional communications prior to that episode (as far as we know, that is). Yet, GB was in possession of some Dino Charge weapons (like the Split Emitters and one of the Dino Sabers) during Beast Morphers (and that's besides the fact that most Dino Charge equipment shouldn't even exist anymore since the timeline in which all of that tech was first created was erased from history, but that's a whole different can of worms).
And the fact that GB is backed by the government/military makes it pretty similar to long-since-defunct Lightspeed. Perhaps Ryan Mitchell (who was originally planned to be the head of a new Lightspeed during the Time Force/Lightspeed Rescue team-up, but which didn't make into the final version of that episode) could be another potential founding member of GB, alongside Wes. Some have even suggested that the wealthy and resourceful Andrew Hartford could have been a financial backer for Lightspeed, so he too could have possibly been involved in GB's establishment, at least as a source of funding if not for his technology and access to the Morphin Grid.
And the currently pseudo-canonical "Soul of the Dragon" graphic novel also implied that Tommy's Master Morpher was worked on by either Billy or Ms. Fairweather, adding them to the roster of potential founders too. And speaking of Tommy, we might as well add him, Hayley, and Anton Mercer to the list too since all three of them had knowledge of creating zords and other ranger tech back in Dino Thunder.
As you can see, there's lots of fun possibilities for Grid Battleforce's history and its roles of involvement within the larger Power Rangers universe.
