@  NotVeryKnightly : (29 May 2020 - 01:05 AM)

Cyberverse is already officially uploaded to YouTube.

@  fourteenwings : (29 May 2020 - 12:36 AM)

Spin Master is abridging current episodes of Bakugan Armored Alliance and posting the result on YouTube. Maybe Hasbro does that someday too.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 10:59 PM)

I see... :/

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 08:14 PM)

Within the US anyway. Those channels aren't easy or cheap to access in other countries, and their website often region lock content. Tubi is the only good thing on that list: largely identical (but not perfectly so. Damnit. I wanna watch COPS.) country to country and free.

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:24 PM)

So yeah, Hasbro is using plenty of venues to spread exposure of their brands

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:23 PM)

Starz currently licenses Transformers G1 and the GI Joe movie (as well as MLP specials). Netflix has more current series available.

@  Nevermore : (28 May 2020 - 07:21 PM)

Study shows: Holders of the title "world's oldest person" have a severely increased risk of dying.

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:18 PM)

Tubi TV and Youtube both host various Hasbro cartoons. Both are freely accessed and ad supported. Any basic TV package (barring straight antenna) includes channels like USA Network, SyFy and FX, all of which regularly air the films from Transformers and GI Joe.

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 06:18 PM)

I dunno what to tell you, media might be changing slowly, but at least it's still accessible. Even the folks that DON'T get one of the streaming services can watch it on the company website. It's a vehicle for the toy line after all, they need to make an effort to make it as consumable as possible.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 05:41 PM)

Well. Thats said, then.... I guess... :doh

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 04:13 PM)

As long as the the cartoons are profitable, then they'll make more. The media it's shown on is completely irrelevant. I say that as a guy whose earliest surviving memory is a big red truck turning into a big red robot.

@  ZakuConvoy : (28 May 2020 - 03:06 PM)

Might be the end of an era. With the rise of streaming, who knows if Transformers will ever be on broadcast TV again.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 11:46 AM)

3 seasons on a show is usually enough... but yeah ;-;

@  Roddie Luver : (27 May 2020 - 09:37 PM)

I’m also sad Cyberverse has no season four.

@  Paladin : (26 May 2020 - 08:10 PM)

it's too hugging hot today.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

I'll agree with you on that.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

*Figured -_-

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

I fugured

@  Steevy Maximus : (25 May 2020 - 01:37 PM)

I'm actually sad Cyberverse won't get another season. 2 and 3 (of what I've seen) have REALLY nailed it in being fun little actions shows, like the Sunbow series.

@  Rycochet : (25 May 2020 - 01:00 PM)

Yes.

@  Maximus Ambus : (25 May 2020 - 12:52 PM)

I'm waiting for Animated season 4. Am I insane?

@  wonko the sane? : (25 May 2020 - 11:22 AM)

I'm waiting for the next season to show up on netflix.

@  Sabrblade : (25 May 2020 - 10:59 AM)

Many of us have already watched the rest of the Cyberverse episodes since the whole third season aired in the UK last September.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 10:18 AM)

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 10:17 AM)

I just saw the 8th episode... omg

@  Bass X0 : (25 May 2020 - 01:28 AM)

Already seen it online.

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 09:42 PM)

Who's excited for tomorrow? The only thing that makes Monday worth it is the Cyberverse episodes .-.

@  wonko the sane? : (24 May 2020 - 12:30 PM)

Welcome. I just came into that trick myself recently, so happy to share.

@  Nevermore : (24 May 2020 - 12:05 PM)

Thanks, wonko the sane? for the tip with the cloning. That helped a lot!

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 12:02 PM)

Heheh.... yes... I don't think a sniper would be very good at making a vaccine... 0.0

@  Nevermore : (24 May 2020 - 11:48 AM)

All right! Cloning my old HHD to an SSD and then swapping out the drive was successful, it would appear. Finally.

@  Bass X0 : (24 May 2020 - 11:30 AM)

Scientist Perceptor is. Sniper Perceptor less so.

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 10:51 AM)

Perceptor would be more responsible.

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 10:48 AM)

Oof x~x

@  TheMightyMol... : (24 May 2020 - 10:45 AM)

'Horrible consequences' would most likely happen with Brainstorm...

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 08:16 AM)

Totally. And Percy's not even human. XD

@  TheMightyMol... : (24 May 2020 - 06:50 AM)

Can't do much worse than our current government, I say go for it.

@  Sabrblade : (23 May 2020 - 10:13 PM)

Little do we realize that the Perceptor in question is the Mini-Con combiner. :p

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 10:11 PM)

He would!!!

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 10:11 PM)

Horrible consequences? I... Doubt that would happen.

@  wonko the sane? : (23 May 2020 - 09:55 PM)

Even if he would come up with the answer by tomorrow.

@  wonko the sane? : (23 May 2020 - 09:54 PM)

I'd rather not deal with the horrible but unintended consequences of that.

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 09:52 PM)

Lets let Perceptor make a vaccine for COVID-19. Who agrees with me :)

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 08:43 PM)

I'll take your word for it. =D

@  TM2-Megatron : (23 May 2020 - 08:42 PM)

Although the TV edits of Robocop do contain some hilarity

@  TM2-Megatron : (23 May 2020 - 08:41 PM)

I can't think of any instance where sanitizing a film is a good thing.

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 06:42 PM)

.... and thats a good thing? :doh

@  Steevy Maximus : (23 May 2020 - 06:39 PM)

I'm watching Predator on Starz! That means it has all the language and gore uncensored!

He just put those up. I was on his page maybe 20 minutes ago and they weren't there. Those BS figures don't do much for me though. I'd like to see Finn get his own set of clothes, not something stolen or borrowed. That play set looks pretty cool, I'd want it if I was a kid. Not just a kid at heart.

I really like the look of that BB8/SDestroyer set in Playset mode. I probably won't want to spring for what they'll charge for it, but it looks like a neat piece.

Darth Revan should be here tomorrow.

So I just realized after looking at Lando more...he has a molded cape and not a fabric.  Thats kinda weird. Not sure if I like it.

Is this auction fake or real? Im guessing a wide release of Thrawn would be put out, maybe its been announced and I didn't see it/don't remember reading it.

Yeah, Thrawn was always going to get a wide release, just as prior SDCC items have.  He just isn't coming with all the nifty accessories.  Didn't know he was slipping out...but it's not like Hasbro or Disney have been terribly forthcoming with information on what is actually going to be available over the next few weeks.

My life feels a little more complete.

I'd be willing to spend the money on Thrawn. Kinda want the SDCC version but it's a bit much. Hopefully HTS has plenty.

I see 3 auctions for her on eBay now, pre orders. Range from $43 - $50. Expected to arrive between end of September, start of October.

I got the Black Series Vader Legacy Pack on clearance at Walmart for $12.

Now I just have to fight the urge to try to collect all 12 of the "Early Bird" figures to complete the stand.

Shouldn't be too hard given that they were fairly hard to find in the stores to begin with.

This guy has BS Grand Admiral Thrawn in. I'm not taking the chance of not finding him in store or waiting until he's $50 a pop.

The "rarity" of Han Solo and R2D2 amuse me to no end.  I still remember the wails of collectors about Hasbro was killing 6" Black because Han and Greedo were a SDCC item in addition to slow movers at retail.

The problem with BS is they make to many of the characters nobody wants. H on Lt they won't really know until they hit the shelves. But why not do 2 of each character per case, especially the 40th anniversary waves.

I'll second the notion that BS is chock-full of characters that no one wants.

I put together my Legacy stand and opened Darth Vader.  I also opened my Boba Fett and added him.

I've got two Royal Guards coming from Amazon.

Forget collecting the 40th Anniversary line, I'mma stock my stand with characters that I actually want.

The problem is figure like Constable whoever and the dudeninnthenred and black suit. Figures with zero or very little screen time that didn't even have a major impact on the story getting figures. With he R1 figures The Captain and Jyn getting so many figures. They just clog the shelf the way RotS Obi-Wan used to. Then poor distribution of the figures doesn't help either.

The same people I bought Admiral Thrawn from on eBay sold 4 of them at the $28 price point I got them at now have 8 @ $31. Glad I got him "cheap".

Constable Zuvo (or whatever) is totally another example of how the creators for TFA were a bit too secretive for the licensees. I get why they were but... You kind of have to work with your licensees - especially in a brand as tied to toys and merchandise as Star Wars - to make sure you don't get situations like #WheresRey or globs of product that doesn't sell/fails to generate the intended interest.

The Constable was one of the alien concepts sent to Hasbro, probably with a background bio write-up making him sound cool... And that's it. No discussion of relevance to the plot. Now I gather there was supposed to be a scene with him on Jakku, so maybe that would have helped, but the scene was entirely cut from the final film leaving the Constable maybe visable in the background for 2 or 3 seconds. Meanwhile Hasbro is all "Oh wow! This alien sounds important! Let's make him at both scales!"

All that aside... At $20, I'm incredibly particular about the characters I pick up for the line. Which so far has been OT Troopers and the Rebel side of the Rebels cast (Ie, I plan on skipping Thrawn). So I'm pretty much not buying most of TFA, R1, or TLJ 6" Black Series anyway.

I'm probably limiting myself to Vader, Royal Guards, and OT Stormtroopers... maybe a few other Imperial troopers (like a Scout Trooper - should have bought that one when it was super-cheap).

Amazon has unmasked 6" Kylo Ren for like $4 shipped (Prime)... and I was like, "meh."

Maybe if I had cared more about his character in the media, I may have jumped on that deal, but over the years of collecting, I've had to become more selective because space is always going to be limited.
