@  -LittleAutob... : (29 May 2020 - 09:19 AM)

Yes, and its ongoing.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (29 May 2020 - 01:05 AM)

Cyberverse is already officially uploaded to YouTube.

@  fourteenwings : (29 May 2020 - 12:36 AM)

Spin Master is abridging current episodes of Bakugan Armored Alliance and posting the result on YouTube. Maybe Hasbro does that someday too.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 10:59 PM)

I see... :/

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 08:14 PM)

Within the US anyway. Those channels aren't easy or cheap to access in other countries, and their website often region lock content. Tubi is the only good thing on that list: largely identical (but not perfectly so. Damnit. I wanna watch COPS.) country to country and free.

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:24 PM)

So yeah, Hasbro is using plenty of venues to spread exposure of their brands

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:23 PM)

Starz currently licenses Transformers G1 and the GI Joe movie (as well as MLP specials). Netflix has more current series available.

@  Nevermore : (28 May 2020 - 07:21 PM)

Study shows: Holders of the title "world's oldest person" have a severely increased risk of dying.

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:18 PM)

Tubi TV and Youtube both host various Hasbro cartoons. Both are freely accessed and ad supported. Any basic TV package (barring straight antenna) includes channels like USA Network, SyFy and FX, all of which regularly air the films from Transformers and GI Joe.

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 06:18 PM)

I dunno what to tell you, media might be changing slowly, but at least it's still accessible. Even the folks that DON'T get one of the streaming services can watch it on the company website. It's a vehicle for the toy line after all, they need to make an effort to make it as consumable as possible.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 05:41 PM)

Well. Thats said, then.... I guess... :doh

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 04:13 PM)

As long as the the cartoons are profitable, then they'll make more. The media it's shown on is completely irrelevant. I say that as a guy whose earliest surviving memory is a big red truck turning into a big red robot.

@  ZakuConvoy : (28 May 2020 - 03:06 PM)

Might be the end of an era. With the rise of streaming, who knows if Transformers will ever be on broadcast TV again.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 11:46 AM)

3 seasons on a show is usually enough... but yeah ;-;

@  Roddie Luver : (27 May 2020 - 09:37 PM)

I’m also sad Cyberverse has no season four.

@  Paladin : (26 May 2020 - 08:10 PM)

it's too hugging hot today.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

I'll agree with you on that.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

*Figured -_-

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

I fugured

@  Steevy Maximus : (25 May 2020 - 01:37 PM)

I'm actually sad Cyberverse won't get another season. 2 and 3 (of what I've seen) have REALLY nailed it in being fun little actions shows, like the Sunbow series.

@  Rycochet : (25 May 2020 - 01:00 PM)

Yes.

@  Maximus Ambus : (25 May 2020 - 12:52 PM)

I'm waiting for Animated season 4. Am I insane?

@  wonko the sane? : (25 May 2020 - 11:22 AM)

I'm waiting for the next season to show up on netflix.

@  Sabrblade : (25 May 2020 - 10:59 AM)

Many of us have already watched the rest of the Cyberverse episodes since the whole third season aired in the UK last September.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 10:18 AM)

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 10:17 AM)

I just saw the 8th episode... omg

@  Bass X0 : (25 May 2020 - 01:28 AM)

Already seen it online.

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 09:42 PM)

Who's excited for tomorrow? The only thing that makes Monday worth it is the Cyberverse episodes .-.

@  wonko the sane? : (24 May 2020 - 12:30 PM)

Welcome. I just came into that trick myself recently, so happy to share.

@  Nevermore : (24 May 2020 - 12:05 PM)

Thanks, wonko the sane? for the tip with the cloning. That helped a lot!

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 12:02 PM)

Heheh.... yes... I don't think a sniper would be very good at making a vaccine... 0.0

@  Nevermore : (24 May 2020 - 11:48 AM)

All right! Cloning my old HHD to an SSD and then swapping out the drive was successful, it would appear. Finally.

@  Bass X0 : (24 May 2020 - 11:30 AM)

Scientist Perceptor is. Sniper Perceptor less so.

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 10:51 AM)

Perceptor would be more responsible.

He would!!!

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 10:11 PM)

Horrible consequences? I... Doubt that would happen.

@  wonko the sane? : (23 May 2020 - 09:55 PM)

Even if he would come up with the answer by tomorrow.

@  wonko the sane? : (23 May 2020 - 09:54 PM)

I'd rather not deal with the horrible but unintended consequences of that.

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 09:52 PM)

Lets let Perceptor make a vaccine for COVID-19. Who agrees with me :)

@  -LittleAutob... : (23 May 2020 - 08:43 PM)

I'll take your word for it. =D

We've apparently reached a point where pilots can't even fit in their own vehicles.

Yeah $150.00 Is pretty good - slight problem controlling it if you don't have a smart phone or the Star wars ap isn't available in your teritory though - I expect a 1-1 Scale one will come out eventually.

I chuckled at how they hid the battery compartment in one of the circles - perhaps one day they can make one that is all sealed and uses induction charging to recharge itself.

Oh a Fun pic :

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd definitely be all over a BB8 "pet" that navigated your house like a roomba rather than by remote control. Especially if it booped and beeped at things or greeted me when I got home.

That is perhaps a bit too ambitious for retail, I know.

I opted to pass on Force Friday as outside of those already too expensive LEGO sets, there really isn't anything I want.

However, BBTS did throw up pre-orders for the next 2 Samurai-Styled Star Wars figures.  I promptly pre-ordered two of those Royal Guards.

As for Death Star Darth Vader, while I like his new accessories, I don't like the Death Star "crest," and since I already have the original Taishou Vader, $90 is pretty pricey to start picking up variants of non-army-building characters.

Well, that and December will already be an expensive month with holiday gifts and Takara-Tomy Devastator/Defensor imports.

I'm not usually a fan of scene-specific decos, but this one's lightsaber doesn't have the lightning effect on it.

Plus the base is apperantly going to link up with another yet-to-be-revealed figure.

The Millennium Falcon quad copter drone is a work of sheer genius.

But how does the X-Wing drone fly? I didn't think small, fan-drone tech had advanced enough to use horizontal thrust. Do you have to throw it to get it started? Need a runway for takeoff?

It's has a patrol mode that navigates a room and eventually learns to avoid obstacles (except stairs, ledges, cliffs, etc.).

Hit TRU and Target nearest this morning.

Picked up 3 3/4 Rey, a Stormtrooper, a Flametrooper and a new Xwing pilot. A bunch were sold out everywhere. No place had Captain Phasma who I really wanted or the non-armor basic 3 3/4 Kylo Ren.

No 2packs anywhere either, so no Ashoka or BB8. :p

It probably speaks to how incredibly cute Daisy Ridley is that no one can seem to sculpt and capture her likeness into plastic. Still, I picked up the last one they had from the six inch figure line because she's packaged with BB-8! I bought Kylo Ren and Finn, as well. Wave two now, please.

Now that I have them open I LOVE all 4 figs I picked up. They're really great.

I think the highlight is the flight-pack that comes with X-Wing Poe. It is TOTALLY a Micronauts backback that makes him look like Acroyear and is totally a great fun way to let kids fly the figure around. Unexpected and Awesome.

-ZacWilliam, strongly recommend all of these guys and gonna need more soon. :)

For six inch I managed to pick up the only Kylo Ren and Stormtrooper I could find. Rey and Finn were sold out everywhere. Chewie was not.

Question: Did anyone see the 3 3/4 FA 2-packs last night or today? I can't seem to find any evidence they actually released today in stores or online.

Not a fan of the arms on this trooper, but otherwise it's pretty cool.

Kylo's hood is a bit doofey, and his lightsaber is pretty loose in his hand, but otherwise he's fine.

The local target didn't do the midnight thing so I just went to Walmart and was pretty underwhelmed at the offerings. I ended up just getting the Kylo Ren Bladebuilder Lightsaber. I was disappointed that they had a Vader Voice Changer mask but no Kylo Rens.

The one TRU I checked out at noon today was decently stocked. No Black Series figures tho (I guess it's better than the shelf warming ObiWan, Han Solo, Greedo and Slave Leia...)

There was no BB8 ANYTHING save for a bike helmet. Little dude is a star!

That is perhaps a bit too ambitious for retail, I know.

Not at all too ambitious. There's been an R2 that does exactly that for years now, as well as a WALL-E. Apparently there's a BB-8 showing up in the UK that's bigger and does those things too and it's only 50 bucks or so.

We've apparently reached a point where pilots can't even fit in their own vehicles.

Remember, kids don't care about that stuff! It's how it used to be! It's simpler and better! ;) :D :p

Anyway, decided to hit the local TRU since it's less than five minutes away. At first I thought it was going to be crazy because the lot was packed - but it was mostly for the club/bar next door. :D  Still had maybe a hundred or so people in line. Everything was pretty calm. I was surprised to see the store hadn't moved everything to the front. I know most locations have Star Wars back on that double-aisle, but I figured they'd do the usual huge front display. I remember for Phantom Menace they had the rest of the store cordoned off for the midnight opening. But nope - everyone just wandered to the regular aisle and started grabbing stuff. I picked up a Titanium shuttle and new Star Destroyer and Rei's desert speeder just for kicks. I had a five dollar off coupon still so it was basically a free Ti.

Glad I waited because Amazon has 25 off 100 worth of Star Wars and you can get 25 off the app-controlled BB-8 through Brookstone. So I picked him up and the X-wing, Tie, Snow Speeder and Speeder Bike from Amazon (and against my better judgement I preordered their 6 pack of troopers - I figure they'll look ok standing behind some of the eventual SA versions. Sadly they're not eligible for the discount).

While on the topic of 3 3/4 Black series - looks like Walmart will be the exclusive distributor.
