The G.I. Joe Thread

I remember me and my friends having REALLY strong opinions as to wich Joes we hated as kids.
I remember we all hated Sargent Slaughter but I think that originated more from them than me, and was maybe due to him becoming a heel in Wrestling.
For myself I could not stand anyone who was an a-hole in the Cartoon. I disliked Wet Suit and Leatherneck cause they were jerks to each other and in general. I could not stand Beachhead as I said above. Funnily enough the last one I remember really hating was Cross Country who was not a Jerk but was just a figure we had 3 of that I thought looked really stupid, with an ugly and out of proportion looking head.
-ZacWilliam, and of course we all had our favorite Joes we loved. In my case: Stalker, Gung-Ho, Firefly, Zartan, Trip-Wire, Airtight, Sci-Fi, Mercer and Sky Dive off the top of my head.

I was more fascinated with cobra command, because they were just so ridiculous.

I liked Sgt. Slaughter just fine, I just wished his classic toys weren't so huge compared to other characters.
I really like the SDCC figures for being more realistically like the Sarge himself.
Also his commercial and jingle are great.
Now I'm wondering if there's any fanart out there of a Renegades-style Sgt. Slaughter.
You're far too young to be this bitter and angry at the world....
I'm reading that with Roy's voice. Heck, I read everything you post in a laconic Irish accent.

Same. I'll be keeping mine MISB since I already have the standard release.
I originally told myself that I'd only be buying a couple of these, but right now I have every single one thus far except standard Roadblock and Beachhead (because I can't find him).

Saw Classified figures at retail, finally. Local Target had Duke and Roadblock (the standard release).
And my local Walmart finally has prices tags set up on two pegs, and all of wave 1. Excellent.

I think only 2 Targets put out Joe anything in my area, I got 2 Cobra Troopers from what honestly seemed like a possible Trooper only box. The other targets r have the shelves and pegs ready but nothing there.
