Dogs realize that people give them things, and think the people are gods. Cats realize that people give them things, and think that they are the gods. Gods care not for toys on shelves or tables.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (28 June 2017 - 06:41 PM)

Caring and Seeing are two very different things!

@  Bass X0 : (28 June 2017 - 06:27 PM)

But they just don't care.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (28 June 2017 - 06:25 PM)

Oh they do.... they doo!

@  Bass X0 : (28 June 2017 - 06:15 PM)

Why do cats see a shelf or table but not see all the toys standing on it already?

@  TheMightyMol... : (28 June 2017 - 06:04 PM)

Everything the fur covers is their domain.

@  Dracula : (28 June 2017 - 05:05 PM)

@  Dracula : (28 June 2017 - 05:04 PM)

Cats know what's theirs.

@  Miss Kayla Kaon : (28 June 2017 - 04:57 PM)

It's amazing how in less then 24 hours of having a cat they seem to take over the house.

@  Bass X0 : (28 June 2017 - 04:31 PM)

Can you see the energon? ......... Is it over here? ...... Oh, over there! ....... You've found it!

@  Noideaforaname : (28 June 2017 - 03:15 PM)

It's not a "stop and ask the audience for help every 5 seconds" show, if that's what you mean.

@  ▲ndrusi : (28 June 2017 - 03:15 PM)

(but that might just be because I haven't watched Nick Jr in years)

@  ▲ndrusi : (28 June 2017 - 03:14 PM)

It seems more like a "regular" kids' show than something Nick Junior level

@  MEDdMI : (28 June 2017 - 02:45 PM)

Also one of the villains is voiced by Tim Curry

@  MEDdMI : (28 June 2017 - 02:44 PM)

I haven't seen every ep, but it's pretty cute from what I did see. A bit more danger than your average Nick Jr show

@  Dracula : (28 June 2017 - 02:37 PM)

That sort of pre-school Nick Jr. flavor is an immediate turn-off for me, so tell me how it surpasses that

@  Dracula : (28 June 2017 - 02:36 PM)

anyone a fan of Rescue Bots? Sell me on it

@  Dracula : (28 June 2017 - 02:36 PM)

Been catching up on TF shows I missed or ignored (currently RID'15). Considering Rescue Bots, but it's like 100 episodes

@  MEDdMI : (28 June 2017 - 01:19 PM)

There's a world of difference b/t choosing it for yourself and trying to force others to do the same.

@  MEDdMI : (28 June 2017 - 01:18 PM)

Exactly. My friend's married to an omnivore and she feeds her dogs a regular diet.

@  Paladin : (28 June 2017 - 01:17 PM)

my only problem is when people try to make their PETS vegetarian. it does not work that way.

@  MEDdMI : (28 June 2017 - 01:15 PM)

*sigh* One of my best RL friends is a vegetarian. She endures so much crap for that when she's fine with other people's diets.

@  Echowarrior : (28 June 2017 - 01:00 PM)

I have nothing against vegetarians, or vegans. I just hope they have nothing against me being an omnivore.

@  ▲ndrusi : (28 June 2017 - 09:04 AM)

I just mentally mixed several thread titles together and now I want to know what Pete's personal canon would be like if he was a movieverse character

@  RichardT1977 : (28 June 2017 - 07:39 AM)

(BTW this risks drifting into restricted topic discussion)

@  RichardT1977 : (28 June 2017 - 07:38 AM)

It's pre-emptive defensive offensiveness against the offensiveness they assume vegetarians are going to have about the eating of animals. In other words, they're saying "Stop making me feel guilty!"

@  Rycochet : (28 June 2017 - 07:25 AM)

As a vegetarian it always amuses me how offended people seem to be by the existence of vegetarian food and vegetarians and vegans in general.

@  MEDdMI : (28 June 2017 - 05:11 AM)

I prefer some veggie patties over regular burgers.

@  SpectrumBelle : (28 June 2017 - 03:07 AM)

vegan ice cream is actually pretty good

@  Bass X0 : (28 June 2017 - 03:02 AM)

Quote of the day: "Vegan ice cream and pizza is like kicking someone in the dick a few times and calling it sex."

@  Locoman : (27 June 2017 - 09:42 PM)

What about Invasion of the Neptune Men?

@  Foffy : (27 June 2017 - 08:35 PM)

Patchy ilu

@  Patchouli Kn... : (27 June 2017 - 08:33 PM)

All things considered, the case fatality rate for bad entertainment is actually rather low.

@  Telly : (27 June 2017 - 08:21 PM)

made it back in one piece. i have now survived this, all seven seasons of star trek voyager and the star wars holiday special. NOTHING CAN KILL ME!!!!

@  Bass X0 : (27 June 2017 - 05:18 PM)

@  Paladin : (27 June 2017 - 05:14 PM)

it's summer; the release schedule is packed. between the minions this week, Spiderman next week & then the Apes things have to move fast.

@  Bass X0 : (27 June 2017 - 04:58 PM)

nope, i was wrong. i don't know why one site mislead me but the cinema's own site says its still going to be shown later.

@  wonko the sane? : (27 June 2017 - 04:49 PM)

Seriously? Didn't it just drop? Why are they pulling it so fast?

@  Bass X0 : (27 June 2017 - 04:38 PM)

Thursday is the last day my local cinema is showing it so I guess I'll have to go soon to watch it too.

@  TheMightyMol... : (27 June 2017 - 04:33 PM)

Abandon all hope, ye who buy tickets here.

@  Telly : (27 June 2017 - 04:31 PM)

off to see the last knight. wish me luck!

@  Bass X0 : (27 June 2017 - 12:19 PM)

I wish more third party knock off makers would realise the same thing.

@  TheMightyMol... : (27 June 2017 - 11:01 AM)

I have to wonder if they just realized that their product sucked.

@  unluckiness : (27 June 2017 - 09:52 AM)

Can't say. It could just be a response to the lackluster performance of thefirst try convincing them it was a lost cause. Or Skullhugger.

@  Rycochet : (27 June 2017 - 09:28 AM)

I have to wonder if PWTToo actually told the non Alvarez former Hasbro employees that the plan was to straight rip off pretenders before getting them involved, it's pretty telling that none of them seemed to be around when they made their second attempt to make it work.

@  Robowang : (27 June 2017 - 08:28 AM)

Doze Nuts

@  unluckiness : (27 June 2017 - 08:12 AM)

I don't think I'd mind them making clear ripoffs of Pretenders if they didn't keep hyping their creativity up.

@  Bass X0 : (27 June 2017 - 07:43 AM)

No, because I don't buy third party knock offs.

@  lastmaximal : (27 June 2017 - 07:25 AM)

You must have been disappointed that Play With This Too didn't work out.

@  Bass X0 : (27 June 2017 - 02:24 AM)

Never had any of the Masters Of The Universe toys but I did like the highly detailed and articulated look of them. I wanted Hasbro to produce an equally highly detailed and articulated range of toys based on Transformers Pretenders outer shells from the 1980s. Although they wouldn't be Pretenders with an inner transformable robot and characters like Thunderwing would have vehicle kibble but would not be able to transform.

  • Fair warning that this is the panel that usually includes a "no photography" slideshow. We're going to try to bring it to you live, but if Hasbro says no devices, we'll have to get you a report after it's over.
  • UPDATE (1:09pm PST) No devices. Denied! Daytonus has promised us a report immediately following. Sorry guys, I wanted the live coverage too. icon-screamer.gif

Should be interesting - not sure I understand though, how different is it from the Hasbro panel yesterday? Thanks.
Not my finest work, but when life gives you lemons, they're yellow so just paint black stripes on them and call them Bumblebee. Kids will buy them.

This is the one where they show all the super cool stuff we're not allowed to see becuase we didn't spend the $ to go cross country.

The Saturday panel is more-or-less for the stuff on the shelves/in the pipeline. Goes roughly 6 months out.

This is the panel for wowing you with stuff that's often not quite that far along, but you're likely to want hard. Last year, this panel is where we first heard about most of the Generations/RTS stuff like Lugnut and Perceptor and all that--things that were only released (or "released") just recently.

Oh, the poor fans. They'll have to wait an hour to get their information for free instead of immediately.

"Disabled people donít have special needs. We have very reasonable human needs. Our needs include freedom from abuse, violence, and mistreatment, the right to autonomy and self-direction, the right to represent ourselves, equal opportunity for education and employment, the right to accommodation, and societal inclusion and acceptance.

The need for accommodation isnít a ďspecial needĒ. Itís a basic human right. Itís a leveling of the playing field that allows us the same opportunities and chances as non-disabled people."

Well you know. There're these things called "pen" and "paper" and they can transcribe real-time and allow one to report after the fact. icon-fire.gif

I'm sure we'll get all the news.

The most interesting, and "no devices" now. Hasbro, do you realize how many fans you piss off with this?

Those five people who have never been to, or heard of Botcon? No pictures. Ever. Everything takes pictures now, so no everything.

This is a treat for the die-hard fans that actually stayed on Sunday, and is traditionally where the best reveals are. It's no surprise it's no-photos, no-devices.

Hey, any of you guys remember last Sunday's panel, when they revealed Lugnut, and some idiot shouted "GLORIOUS" at the top of his lungs abotu seven times?

That was me icon-fire.gif

Yeah, I don't blame Hasbro for wanting to keep the special slideshow for those present... well, special. They have to balance their desires to do cool things for us (the fandom) against the levels of security and secrecy required of being a business.

I'm impatient and want my reveals NOW, but the previous years have shown that Hasbro can't be nice about it. If they want to prevent leaks, they have to shut it all down... and even then...

I hope Solus does Gilbert and Sullivan. (Like, y'know, Mordin.)

Their species is monogendered. Male and female have no real meaning to them.

Wooo! New Thirteen member!
Also glad to see Nexus. I was actually a little afraid they were going to dump him and come up with someone new.
Also, whoever the Beastformer of The 13 is better not turn into a real animal.

And I was right about them making separate MMOs for different markets.
Kind of want to play both. Although, I'm more excited for the Jagex one.

edit: From what we saw of Prima and what I've heard of the others I kind of hope those guys get another slight redesign before they show up anywhere.
I'm ok with them using the Prime aesthetic. I just want it to be a bit more obvious they they're Transformers.

Some of those were good questions.
Like confirming that characters from the "aligned" continuity will be appearing transmedia.

I can understand the The 13 stuff being like the pre-LOTR stuff, but I still would like them in some physical form.
Anything would be nice, even Kreons.

While I'm pleased to finally get it flatly-stated that "aligned" is not "multiverse"... "aligned" seems anything BUT.

It's all one big story in several parts that don't necessarily fit together, it seems... so something like a comic universe, I guess, where each title has their own thing going on that technically happens in/effects the others, but doesn't necessarily HAVE to (outside of "events" of course)?

Seems like trading one concept of multiple continuities for another is all it really boils down to.

Aligned is a separate multiverse from the previous multiverse, as I read it.
