Previews of what we'll be seeing from Mattel at the next SDCC are starting. Is that a Back to the Future plutonium case?

I am yelling angrily at my screen that I may never own Swamp Thing.

But in the current, digitized world, trivial information is accumulating every second, preserved in all its triteness. Never fading, always accessible. Rumors about petty issues, misinterpretations, slander... All this junk data preserved in an unfiltered state, growing at an alarming rate. It will only slow down social progress, reduce the rate of evolution. You seem to think that our plan is one of censorship. What we propose to do is not to control content, but to create context.

Movie Kilowog and Swamp Thing look cool. Even though I honestly know next to nothing about the characters, I'm tempted. The case IS Back to the Future related, though they're not giving details. If it's the Delorean, I'm probably going to pass since I've got a pretty good one from a few years back (Diamond Select made it, I think). Not sure about Voltron either. He's cool, but I have the non-diecast version of Toynami's one and while the articulation may not be perfect, it's plenty big and can transform. Stay Puft is another question mark. I have the bank version which is pretty good, but the size of this one might win me over. That price is rough though.

Oh I know. Kevin Flynn's lightcycle (the white one in the film) was version 2.0. I still have my vintage ones, I just thought it would've been cool if they released some retro colored models. Even if it weren't in the film, I can't imagine they would've sold worse than the plain white one.

Yeah - I didn't buy any of the figures. They weren't near as bad as Avatar, but they weren't that great either. I bought the small light jet but was somewhat disappointed in it. The bigger light jet departed even further from the movie model so I'll pass on that unless I find it at a serious discount.

It's outside of my money and space budgets, but someone else needs to buy that thing and pose some of the MattyCollector Ghostbusters next to it.
