I guess their multi-billion dollar movie franchise kinda has them ignoring everything that...isn't that.
This puts WFC to shame but I still think Mattel would rather trade places.

Is that a typo or was he actually Skeletor's cook in addition to the other things?
Never cared for Tri-Klops as the tech guy. He was always the cook swordsman bounty hunter.
'Cause that's way more entertaining.
Unfortunately no, he was never his cook. Which makes you wonder who was...?

The Evil Warriors. That's all they've ever been called.
As for the name of Skeletor's crew, I can't find it but I recall a version of the original opening referred to them as the evil Masters of the Universe rather than the evil forces of Skeletor.

Right, so youtube had the trailer for the new netflix show.
Yeah, ain't gonna buy the toys cause of it or nothing: but damn does it look good. While the original had that certain charm, a he-man where they can finally get violent, with mark hamill doing the crazy voice for skeletor? Yeah, sold.

So, DISTURBINGLY easy to acquire for an "exclusive". Nice.
It's funny, I haven't seen any of the recent Power Con exclusives pop up on eBay yet.
I'm still holding out hope that Mattel will pull their heads out of their asses and release that Secrets of Greyskull set to retail. Even slightly altered and exclusive to a retailer would be fine with me. It's all new tooling, so I can't imagine them dropping all that money into new molds just to use them once on an exclusive.
It's frustrating that they intentionally left the Space Armour out of the castle, only to release it as a EXTREMELY limited con exclusive, so most people can't ever complete their Greyskull.

Puzzle box leading to the music artifact thing in the MOTU LA movie? Trying to make a coherent narrative out of homaging these things and that's the only possibility that comes to mind for me
I'm suspecting something like this, yes. The puzzle box/artifact that has some kinda big mythical thing attached is the easiest way to homage Hellraiser without dipping into the horror genre or such.

Indeed, but I think there might be more here that weren't in the original series than what was -- especially if you take out stuff like Attak-Trak that didn't look like the toy at all.

I used metal wire instead of rubber washers like the video suggested. So it's not exactly a kid safe toy anymore. The legs are kinda wobbly. But they are attached and they can stand on their own (King Hiss better than Hordak).
I used the rubber O-rings and metal eyelets method and it worked really well. There are actual replacement bands you can get now. I think they're called He-Bands.

I've seen the He-bands and considered it. This way just seemed simpler though. It's just nice to have them in one piece. And now I also have a plan of action for when it happens to some of the others.
