@  Paladin : (22 July 2019 - 05:46 PM)

meanwhile some of us are trying to calculate if they'll have a spare forty bucks at the end of the week for some food...

@  unluckiness : (22 July 2019 - 07:20 AM)

At least I can see where the 600 US bucks is going in this case. The MP line looks more ridiculous by the day.

@  Maximus Ambus : (22 July 2019 - 07:09 AM)

It's ridiculous. I'll stick to Armadacron

@  unluckiness : (22 July 2019 - 06:13 AM)

If anything, shipping is going to make the actual toy's price look affordable.

@  Pennpenn : (22 July 2019 - 02:28 AM)

Its like, $550 ish in US money (so probably about $800 for my Australian self) and is taller than TR Fort Max. He's gonna be a hefty boy.

@  TM2-Megatron : (21 July 2019 - 10:05 PM)

Damn, that Unicron looks big. Not gonna be cheap

@  wonko the sane? : (21 July 2019 - 09:09 PM)

"By the way, your landlord called. Something about being late with the rent."

@  Nevermore : (21 July 2019 - 04:09 PM)

"Hi there, I'm Unicron. Your husband ordered me."

@  unluckiness : (21 July 2019 - 09:04 AM)

"Perhaps I misjudged you. Proceed on your way to the couch."

@  Donocropolis : (21 July 2019 - 07:33 AM)

I'm just afraid of what my wife would do to me if it showed up at our door.

@  TheMightyMol... : (21 July 2019 - 01:23 AM)

Giant Robot Satan has that effect on people.

@  Ashley : (21 July 2019 - 12:31 AM)

So, I might not be able to get Hasbro Pulse Unicron because my mother is afraid of it

@  Pennpenn : (20 July 2019 - 09:58 PM)

But that's neither here nor there.

@  TheMightyMol... : (20 July 2019 - 06:57 PM)

Six of one, half-dozen of the other.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (20 July 2019 - 05:13 PM)

Both maybe?

@  Benbot : (20 July 2019 - 04:44 PM)

Do you need a criminal lawyer or a criminal, lawyer.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (20 July 2019 - 10:40 AM)

I don't suppose the allspark has any criminal lawyers from Georgia. ;P

@  NotVeryKnightly : (19 July 2019 - 01:17 PM)

It seems like, with these kind of things, anything not TF-specific is either in an existing thread or just not discussed since they're not part of something deemed important enough to get its own thread already.

@  Benbot : (19 July 2019 - 12:45 PM)

Yeah, but it's for Transformers specifically

@  Gryllid : (19 July 2019 - 12:39 PM)

There is. It's called "SDCC 2019 thread"

@  Benbot : (19 July 2019 - 12:24 PM)

no general SDCC thread?

@  Benbot : (19 July 2019 - 12:08 PM)

I never even bothered to see it.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (19 July 2019 - 10:30 AM)

O never hated it, the whole thing was an Indiana Jones movie. I didn't care for the CGI, but that's just nature of the beast.

@  Paladin : (19 July 2019 - 07:58 AM)

sidebar- has enough time passed that we can stop irrationally hating "Crystal Skull" yet?

@  Telly : (18 July 2019 - 09:18 PM)

after 38 years and i dont know how many viewings, today is the first time i noticed indiana jones doesnt use a revolver in the bar fight in raiders...

@  Kalidor : (18 July 2019 - 05:33 PM)

@Sabrblade Depends on when you're here. I used to have the backups happen once daily, now I have them happen once per hour so you might often see a hesitation at the top of every hour for 30-45 seconds.

@  Locoman : (18 July 2019 - 05:11 PM)

isn't that just Modern Family

@  Foffy : (18 July 2019 - 04:45 PM)

@  Sabrblade : (18 July 2019 - 12:10 PM)

All this awesome SDCC news is really making these boards run slowly.

Looks like the Master of the Universe aided in crashing the 'Spark, so it's time for a fresh start.

Don't forget to set your alarms for the 15th and the upcoming Burger King Randor, Skeletor re-release and ill-Teela.

Oh, and has anyone seen leaked pics of Evil-Lyn yet?

I have seen one of them, but I hear that the one I have seen may have been retouched to look less yellow.

I figure, since they're about making the new versions close to the old, we'll get yellow first with a goth 200X version down the road as an extra figure.

I saw her on Toyark yesterday before the image was yanked.

She definitely looks really old school. Kind of ugly yet beautiful in a 1980's punk warrior kind of way. I am disappointed her outfit wasn't modified to resemble her card art more in the waist area, as it's just a straight redeco of Teela's (I'm not surprised, obviously, by this though).

Aw... that's a bummer. Teela's armor isn't right for Evil-Lyn... does she have Teela's fuzzy boots then too or what?

She's all Teela with a new head and accessories.

Long magic staff and blue dagger. Looks a lot like the old toy. Flat nose like the 2002 cartoon. The weapons are influenced by 2002 (the staff's length and the dagger). Everything else is vintage 1982.

This thread is useless without pics or at least a link.

I'd really love to see what you guys are talking about, but I have niether the time nor the inclination to scour the net looking for these things.

Like I said, the image was on the Toyark before, but they moved it.

We don't condone posting images directly scanned from Toyfare on the boards, so we cannot upload the image.

Mattycollector will be releasing images of her sooner than later.

You also might want to check out Matty's Facebook, it was posted their a few times and I'm sure a few more before they give up deleting posts. That is if they even bother.

Heh - sure 'nuff. Someone has a link posted to a pic. Well - she's a buy. The colors work well and even the leafy bajingo-guard part of Teela's outfit works ok on her. Still would prefer not to have the fuzzy boots though.

I guess you'd think if they planned on this all along they could've at least molded a separate armor piece for her abdomen. Just snapping in a different piece there would've made a big difference. That being said - they're sticking to the classic theme and that would mean just repainting Teela which is what they did. Maybe the Goth version can have a different armor piece.

If they do the black & purple 2002 version, I really hope they go all out with a new leotard, boots, and skirt. Or at least the skirt/cape & leotard.

I know this is semi off topic but...

Does anyone here happen to know how much that new 8" Green Arrow figure that goes on sale Tues. is going to cost?

Not a hundred percent sure but the normal wave in TRU's computers had them listed at $19.99. So unless somethings changed, that should be how much it'll be on Matty.

Hope they do the 2002 one at some point, as I have no love for the racist jaundice victim.

of course, if they don't, I was lucky enough to GET a 2002 Evil Lyn, but still, I feel her exclusion would be a grave injustice in this line, especially after Mattel teased her.

I may be in the minority here, but I'm really looking forward to Randor. I always liked the look of the original figure (I never owned it), and I think the new one just improves on him.

Hopefully they give us a 2002 fully armored version later on too.

Green Goddess is very unexciting, especially after the announcement of Evil-Lyn - giving us 3 of this figure with just a couple parts different.

I predict Green Goddess to be a huge sitter, only having her sales increased in case people who buy Skeletor buy her just because.

Mattycollector.com SALE UPDATE! Green Arrow isn't going to arrive at the warehouse in time for the sale tomorrow so he's going to move to our 12/23 sale with Wave 11. All other products are arriving as we speak and will go on sale tomorrow. There might be a day or two delay in shipping as they still need to be sorted out once we receive ...them, but don't worry -- they're coming!

I saw that earlier this morning, Punichu, but thanks for posting it anyway.

I was really hoping to get one in hand in time for an X-Mas gift.

Oh well, I'll just have to give that person an IOU.
