You're far too young to be this bitter and angry at the world....
I'm reading that with Roy's voice. Heck, I read everything you post in a laconic Irish accent.

Or better yet, just buy issue 6. Honestly with the first five issues you missed nothing whatsoever. If something happens in issue 6, you won't miss it, but if nothing happens, at least you only blew a few bucks on it.

Even if nothing goes on in each for the first five parts they might add up to something. I'de be left in the dark and I love to have as much info as I can. I just finished Spotlight VOL 3 and I want to know that the Reflectors were up to and I want to see Wheelie get off that planet. Spotlight Magnus left me wanting more as well...

But to be fair, the first couple issues of Infiltration didn't do much for me easier.
I revisted the latter series in trade and loved it, so I hold out hope the same will be true for AHM.

You know what intrigues me? That the Transformers Collector's Club can get a story moving faster in six pages of story every two months than All Hail Megatron in five issues.

As for AHM, the art and colors are fantastic and the book looks great. The full page shot of the Air Force One wreckage did a lot to set the tone of what it means to have the Decepticons unchecked, imho.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure the story or pacing really sets the same tone. It seems the story alternates between pretty intense scenes (Air Force One, Frenzy) and scenes that seem to be channeling the G1 cartoon (humans thinking it's a movie, etc), and imho those transitions are pretty jarring. That said, there have been some very good sequences of dialogue that do a great job of establishing characters.
As a stand-alone series, I'd give it a B- for great art and a story that is starting to get a bit intriguing (about time). As a continuation of the IDW-verse, this is easily an F. I'll likely finish the series, but I'm starting to get the same feeling as I did with DW G1, and this might be the last series that I buy for quite some time.

It's kinda hard to answer. I put "jury is still out" because after the latest issue if they abruptly cancelled the book it would leave me bummed.
Now if they stopped after issue three or something where ABSOLUTELY nothing was happening beyond "Grr Decepticons Smash!" and the whole thing was reading like a G.I. Joe relaunch then I wouldn't have cared but after the Autobots got some screen time and the cliffhanger on the latest issue I want to see where things are going to end up.
AHM isn't perfect by any means and I'd go so far as to say it's deeply flawed but it's finally starting to go somewhere and I want to follow along.

If it helps, I had no idea what the thread was about from the title either.

But those nuggets of interest are enough. I'll still buy the whole series.
(And yes, for those of you who don't know, AHM stands for All Hail Megatron, the current IDW flagship Transformers title).

That's sad, that their main title at this time is something so... Dreamwavey.
At least it's got pretty Guido art, but like Magnusblitz says, pretty art doesn't carry a story.
If it did, I'd prefer All Hail Megatron to Delbo-pencilled, Yomtov-colored issues like the start of Furman's first American Marvel G1 storyline (Back From The Dead, The Resurrection Gambit!, All The Familiar Faces! and Skin Deep).
