Perfection. :thumbsup

My plans:  :hmm  2020:  :)

@  -LittleAutob... : (11 July 2020 - 06:02 PM)

Our plans for 2020 were as amazing as Optimus Prime. But then 2020 came like Hot Rod.

Indeed....

@  Rycochet : (11 July 2020 - 01:11 PM)

Hey you, get moving, it's not too far, you're looking good so come as you are. Hey you, you never know what you'll see, when it's through that door with the 73.

@  Rycochet : (11 July 2020 - 01:10 PM)

Hey you, get ready, get on your feet. Get into gear and hit the street.

@  Maximus Ambus : (11 July 2020 - 12:46 PM)

I recall number 73 (old british show) discussing the Transformers movie and had the presenters trying to transform a few figures, one argued his deflated beach ball was a Transformer too.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (11 July 2020 - 08:03 AM)

And he's a big ball, but he's not the biggest ball of them all. (That'll be Pulse Unicron.)

@  Maximus Ambus : (11 July 2020 - 07:37 AM)

Trypticon so scared my Primus figure he turned into a ball.

@  ▲ndrusi : (09 July 2020 - 09:56 PM)

King Nine, however, will not return.

@  -LittleAutob... : (09 July 2020 - 02:06 PM)

Okay?

@  Otaku : (09 July 2020 - 07:47 AM)

@TheMightyMollusk Ah, but the series itself has pronounced "Bass" both ways. ;)  Oh, 90s English Capcom video game voice acting...

@  Maximus Ambus : (09 July 2020 - 03:14 AM)

Looking at my Titan Returns collection I can see they realised they didn't have to paint the Titan Masters after wave one, lazy bums.

@  Maruten : (08 July 2020 - 09:13 PM)

No, I'm going with "fish".

@  TheMightyMol... : (08 July 2020 - 04:19 PM)

He stated that it's in reference to the Mega Man character, so it follows the series' tradition of music names.

@  Cybersnark : (08 July 2020 - 03:59 PM)

The real question is if it's "bass" as in music or "bass" as in the fish.

@  Otaku : (08 July 2020 - 01:27 PM)

Well, at least now I know how to pronounce @Bass X0 's screen name. ^^'  Rather, I think I'd just forgotten.  In my defense, it really does look like an emoticon or maybe just "decoration", which is what a lot of folks add to their screen names online.  Usually because someone has the name they really want. XD

@  ▲ndrusi : (08 July 2020 - 01:27 PM)

Extremely unimpressed with your idea that someone making a negative observation you don't like means they "got triggered."

@  NotVeryKnightly : (08 July 2020 - 11:16 AM)

You know somebody asked "And this would be in relation to... what exactly?"

@  Bass X0 : (08 July 2020 - 11:15 AM)

Its because someone got triggered over my random musings instead of just ignoring them. If I read one of your comments that is of no relevance or interest to me, I don't feel the need to say so.

@  -LittleAutob... : (08 July 2020 - 10:56 AM)

All this over someone's username lol

@  ▲ndrusi : (08 July 2020 - 08:34 AM)

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (08 July 2020 - 06:34 AM)

It could be Bass 10-0

@  Nevermore : (08 July 2020 - 06:11 AM)

How do you pronounce yourself? "Bass Ex-O" or "Bass Ex-Zero"?

@  Bass X0 : (08 July 2020 - 03:23 AM)

I did almost go with Vile Bass X0, because Vile is cool too.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (07 July 2020 - 08:34 PM)

Bossk Saw

@  ▲ndrusi : (07 July 2020 - 04:16 PM)

Man I just learnt about what seemed like a really cool show, only to realize it was a dream and it dosen't really exist.

@  Bass X0 : (07 July 2020 - 01:02 PM)

Just something I read that I wanted to share. I heard "gray rock" mentioned in a video, so I looked it up and that was the definition.

@  TheMightyMol... : (07 July 2020 - 12:20 PM)

It's a fancy way of saying "Ignore annoying people".

@  NotVeryKnightly : (07 July 2020 - 12:15 PM)

Bass XO has a habit of pasting random drivel here as if doing so were profound.

@  wonko the sane? : (07 July 2020 - 11:30 AM)

And this would be in relation to... what exactly?

@  Bass X0 : (07 July 2020 - 11:25 AM)

"One strategy for dealing with a narcissist or sociopath is to act like a "gray rock," meaning that you become uninteresting and unresponsive. You don't feed their needs for drama or attention. You don't show emotion, say anything interesting, or disclose any personal information"

Really looking forward to the next episode what little I' ve seen of it looks to really work as a perfect closer to the first season/series.

Something I noticed during the furious fangs episode though.
With the exception of the flashbacks during the Christmas episode they haven't really mentioned Bruce Wayne during the entire series (and they've gone out of their way not to show his face)

I'm not complaining mind you, it's just a weird change of pace to actively avoid that entire facet of his life.

So, it seems that even though tonight's episode is the "season finale" (13th episode), it looks just as they did with Animated there's not going to be any hiatus, and they'll go straight into new episodes.

Also: The show was picked up for an additional 26 episodes beyond the initial two "seasons," so there'll be a minimum of 52.

Also also: I bought the second issue of the show's tie-in comic yesterday. It ends will Batman having dinner with Jaime Reyes (Blue Beetle) and his family. This is noteworthy because it is awesome.

It was awesome of CN to change the schedule around so if you had BATB scheduled to record it would record Secret Saturday instead.

Really huggin awesome.

I hope they tell who the person in charge of that was so I could give them a beating to within an inch of their life a medal.

Luckily I watch all of Friday nights, so I got to catch it. It was the most awesome episode of the season. While I don't much like Joker's voice, I do admit that almost everytime he was onscreen I was luaghing my ass off. Just a wonderful preformance, espically seeing his "wing" of the Batcave's villian muesum and curiousty to all the gadgets in the batmobile.

I wasn't sold on Joker's voice, but attitude and writing were top notch. Seriously, Mark Hamill's Joker has got nothing on this guy in terms of "The Funny". Practically every time he opened his mouth, I found myself laughing. I think my favorite part was when Batman was reading up on his friends' weaknesses (Nice nod to Batman's paranoia, too) and Joker was busy taking notes. His "What? I'm helping!" line when he gets caught was priceless.

I also want a figure of the Swashbuckler Batman yesterday.

I do like this Batman show (I may have said that earlier in this thread) but I never get around to watching it. As I've also said, I don't really like Batman...but I like this one icon-fire.gif I've seen a clip of the Joker...I don't care for his voice...is that Jeff Benet? Fairly certain...he's funny yes...but the voice isn't right.

On a related note, Hamill took his role back for Robot Chicken a few weeks ago, wondeful. My favorite cartoon Joker.

The voice doesn't take long to get used to though. But it does help that his writing was spectacular, so it never felt "wrong".

I also got a kick out of Owlman's Batsuit being the original batsuit from the 30s (COMPLETE WITH GUN!).

I agree with GC. Despite the voice not feeling like the joker, the attitude and feeling was there, more so then most any other Joker, and for that I can deal with his voice. The voice works well for Red Hood, but sounds a bit too... distinguished for normal Joker. Just like I think typical Joker voices probably wouldnt have worked well for Red Hood.

I agreely look forward to any other episodes they want to put him in though, if they can keep up his ability to completly steal the show.

Man, Owlman's original 30s batsuit, down to the wrist-length purple gloves, was the awesomest thing about this episode. And that was a hell of a lot of awesome!

Ok, I spent all day watching every single episode of this. Now I can officially say I love it. It makes a lot of characters that I don't like seem cool! Aquaman: not lame. I love Plastic Man, Blue Beetle, and Deadman. Of course the Joker was great also. Wonderful.

Ditto on the voice...at first..but then it really grows especially due to the art style. This voice would NOT have worked on The Batman, but it really seems "right" for the 40's deco style this ep had so much of..reading the old strips the joker seemed somber in a way this voice really seemed to carry.

I think Jeff Bennett did a great job as The Joker. It seemed to work really well for the visual style and characterization.

I hope that, if we ever see the Cowboy Batman again, he's referred to as "Bat Lash."

That was a great episode! I loved the voice for red hood, but it just doesn't work for the Joker. Joker was, as everyone else has mentioned, was great! I loved it when he was trying to pick out a weapon to use, and picks up the bazooka. "The real one will move. HE ALWAYS DOES."

The Joker voice was perfect for this version of the Joker.

Putting Hamill's here would've sounded awful.

Hate to say this but Blud is right. And he's always wrong!

Ironbite-the animation style just wouldn't fit Conroy and Hamil's voices. This...was perfect.
