The butcher was fun! The Skeleton king was much harder than him. Of course you really had to grind for gear before taking them either one of them on.

So this weekend the season ended, and I was playing and took a ten minute break, came back and saw all my stuff in my stash was missing! I freaked out but then I saw that they sent it all to me through their mail service. I guess from now on I will pay more attention to when the seasons change!
I also have gone through the Darkening of Tristam event for the first time. I know that they have done this for years, but I have always missed it. It was pretty fun, but I wish that they would put shortcuts in like the original Diablo game had so I don't have to start from level 1 every time. I played through it the first time with a new character so I could unlock the butcher pet, and I had a blast! Went back through it with my Demon hunter and just blazed through it.
Speaking of Demon hunter, I had a lot of fun with the multishot build I was using this past season. I got her up to almost level 500 prestige and was running in Torment 12 difficulty.
This coming season I am going to continue on with choosing a new character class to play. I will be trying out the Wizard class this time and see how fun that is.

For the Darkening of Tristram event, there's some rewards you can only get by doing it using a fresh Lvl 1 character. Although I'd wait on doing that, because one of the end rewards is currently bugged and is awaiting a hotfix.
Bug has apparently been hotfixed now, so you should be able to get all the special cosmetic rewards now.

Well, to pass the time, other than do other things, I am taking my original Barbarian through and leveling him up. I beat the original game at level 44 with him, so I took him through the expansion and now I am playing Adventure mode with him. I am trying to get him up to level 70 so I can start getting him some better gear.

Sorry, I am on the PC version.
I got my Wizard up to level 69, so hopefully I will be able to finally getting around to unlocking the season achievements later on today!

I'd definitely recommend looking up some guides for how toy play with Vyr, as it's a rather unorthodox build. And unfortunately, not the best of the Wizard sets to start with because it's very gear intensive. Lots of specific legendaries needed for the build to feel smooth at all. Otherwise, it's very clunky, and you're going to feel absolutely useless when your outside of Archon form. And with a base cooldown of 60s, and only 20s uptime, that's going to be a lot of the time without the gear to correct that.
Once you get it rolling though, it's quite versatile and powerful. You can do rifts and bounties crazy-fast with it, and it can do GRs quite comfortably (if non-competitive with the very top Wizard builds).
As a more tenable "starter" build for Wizard, I recommend gambling for Sources until you find yourself an Etched Sigil, and then boots for Nilfur's Boast. Then you can endlessly rain high-powered Meteors down on monsters' heads and push yourself up the difficulty ratings.

So far I am digging the Archon form. Even with just four pieces of gear, it is an insane build in that mode. You aren't joking thouhg about being defenseless outside of it though.
I am rocking electrocute, and I have a source that lets the lightning bounce back to targets it already hit, so it is super effective against packs. My heavy spell right now is disintegrate. No real reason, I just like it.

So I am up to 612 now and I am having fun. I switched up my gear to use the rings that give a boost per ancient item you have. So I have this weird mishmash of gear that has me using firewind, disintegrate, Electrocute, Meteor, teleport, and stormshield. I pretty much just spam firewind and electrocute between meteor recharges. I can solo greater rift level 55 now, and I am working on the last Champion achievement.

I am up in the 670's now. Grinding has slowed down a bit. I was going to try to play some last night but we had a bad thunderstorm come through and knock out power for three hours or so. I did get some play time in before we lost power and I was able to solo level 55 greater rift. Now I just need to solo a level 60 to unlock the highest difficulty and do one more conquest to finished the achievements to unlock a new stash tab!.

Well, I have finished all of the Seasonal achievements, and I have got my wizard up to 777. I have him running the Meteor Tal Rasha setup. It works pretty well and I can run GR 75s all day long with him. I have two Primal Ancient gear pieces now, and they are pretty neat, but don't add to much to my particular build.

New season, new class! Trying the witch doctor this time! I am only about level 40 right now, but I am having fun with the class. The dart gun is a trip to use, but I am enjoying the frogs more right now.

I've been having fun gearing up with the Legacy of Nightmares seasonal buff, rather than the typical race to fill out the sets. There's a more graceful, gradual ramp as each new Ancient Legendary boosts you up another couple of difficulty levels, instead of the usual 0-100 gearing process with the Haedrig's Gifts and all. Haven't actually touched a set yet this Season (although I'll need to eventually, for Conquests).
Although, as you near the end of your gearing journey building this way, you start to curse your RNG even more than usual as you pray against all odds for an Ancient version of that one single item you need to fill that slot, and hope that it has good rolls on top of it all.
I started with Necro this season, reasoning that I may as well take advantage of the fact that this is one of the few times I'll get to actually use a lot of the Necro Legendaries (which are usually awkwardly locked out by their sets, and the fact that their Ring options are so powerful that you often can't even use the Ring of Royal Grandeur). Kinda hit a gear wall, though, where I need multiple very specific pieces all at once to make up a significant power spike, so I switched gears to building a Crusader (since I'll need the second class for Conquests, anyways).
