Midway Exec 1: Marvel vs Capcom is tearing the fighting world a new one....
Midway Exec 2: Can't we just throw MORE BLOOD at it?
Midway Exec 1: I'd say yes, but MvC doesn't have any blood...
Midway Exec 2: Hmmm... Must be the fact that they're using established characters
and not the fact that our games now have dated graphics and horrible gameplay...
Midway Exec 1: Well, if they have Marvel, we need Hannah Barbara.
Intern (sitting quietly in the corner): Don't you mean DC?
Midway Exec 1: No, I'm pretty sure I mean Hannah Barbara...
Midway Exec 2: Jensen, get on it!
10 YEARS LATER
New Midway Exec 1: Well, the deal is done. Mortal Kombat vs DC...
New Midway Exec 2: Remind me again, why did we even start this thing... ?

I would have loved to have heard "Yogi Bear wins. Fatality..."
Just because you can't win doesn't mean you stop working.

Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Are you telling me that tec has a job? I thought his sole reasons for existence are cheesecake and horrible grammar.-Shadowman024

video.
maybe this game will bring mortal kombat out from relying on fatalities and gore to pull in players and be forced to rely on good gameplay.
or it'll be the last mortal kombat game without gore or fatalities and DC characters.

I'm betting the latter.

Mortal Kombat without gore is like Street Fighter without projectiles, Soul Caliber without weapons, DOA without women, etc.

Actualy I though Mortal Kombat Armageddon on the Wii was a damn good game with responsive controls, good graphice and a good level of tactical fighting.

if you can see this, i apologize for the above tweet, i was young and stupid and had nothing of value to say. please support lgbtq rights and listen to women's voices. that's all that really matters now. the right is evil, and should be opposed. thanks.

ive heard some stupid ideas in the day but this takes it, and the fact that MK vs Street Fighter was passed for this.
WTF!
the only thing that could make me play this is if they re work the fightign mechanics and get rid of the generic 3 button combos and Kreate a Fatality.
2 fatalities, and a level fatality worked they diddnt need to screw with the formula.

Let's NOT shop it around to companies that know what they're doing Fighting Game-wise like Capcom, SNK or Namco.
No, let's give it to Midway!
Epic Fail, unless Kevin Conroy voices Batman and Mark Hammill voices Joker.
But in the current, digitized world, trivial information is accumulating every second, preserved in all its triteness. Never fading, always accessible. Rumors about petty issues, misinterpretations, slander... All this junk data preserved in an unfiltered state, growing at an alarming rate. It will only slow down social progress, reduce the rate of evolution. You seem to think that our plan is one of censorship. What we propose to do is not to control content, but to create context.

And now a Mortal Kombat game lacking that trademark blood and gore, but adding a bunch of superheroes and super villains?
From Zero to Suck faster then Mortal Kombat Advanced.
