I did some re-arranging in my bedroom. I wound up losing a shelf for my transformers, but I like the new layout and more open feel immensely. I mean, now there's some holes to patch in the walls, and consequently some painting to do, but worth the effort ultimately.

I really hope that I'm not jumping the gun, but I might have a job starting tomorrow.

So, I just got a call from my brother. Turns out my nephew (Rory! Who just turned two years old.) starting saying a new word! So I started freaking out: what did he hear me say, and who did he repeat it to. I hope I didn't get the little brat kicked out of his daycare cause of it.
Me brother turns on the speaker phone, and clear as day, I can hear Rory in the background repeating his NEW favorite word!
Over, and over, and over. well, the boy does love him some carbs. Still bad for you, but at least not vulgar.
Now, before you go and ask "why would one vulgar word get him kicked out of his daycare", I will explain. I already taught Rory how to count... to metal. I started making the numbers on my hand, and I did it such a way that I threw up the horns. So: One... Two... METAL (Shakes hand in the air.) three... And when they practiced counting at the daycare, he dutifully repeated what uncle chriss taught him... much to the confusion of all the educators there. I am apparently a VERY good bad influence on him. Cause... he learned how to count, and hail satan. I am also ridiculously vulgar, and surprisingly creative in my vulgarity at times. So yeah...

Just did a draft of 8 pages' worth of script for a one-off comic book I had the idea for.
On page 16 now.
Got stuck on how to do a critical scene, but thanks to some chatting with peeps on the Discord I have a few ideas now.

I rebuilt the arm rests on my computer chair... again.
I did, however, learn over the last time: Instead of layering the foam, I rolled it. And instead of reusing the course fabric that covered the original arm rests, I bought a microfiber throw blanket from the dollar store and used that. Much softer cover and there's air space in the foam for it bounce back.

I got my new alarm clock yesterday. This neat little thing.
In green. I wanted something big enough I could check without needing my glasses. The problem is: even the dimmest setting is a night light.
Solution: There is a clear plastic cover over each cell. I took a micro screwdriver, pried all the covers out and spray painted them BLACK. Cut the outgoing light easily by half, but didn't affect the legibility. Plus there is now a nice contrast between the numbers and casing. Might need another coat but well find out tonight.
Edit: sun has set, and it's nice and dark. I had to do a second coat of black spray. It's harder to read when there's light in the room, but it's not FOR when there's light in the room.

Hallelujah, praise a god and pass the ammo! Two days of technical hugging HELL!!! The new internet provider sends some hugwit to do the install: manages to wires 80% of the house phones into the dryloop so only the one in the house is actually capable of sending and receiving calls AND he fails to connect the internet. Five hours of tech calls to the provider, to the company the installer came from (bell. Ugh.) and no end of runs arounds, hangs ups and stress head aches. Finally decide: hug it, done. And ring videotron back up to simply reconnect our old internet package: Which we succeed in doing: but then the ROUTER refuses to allow connections. Hard reset on the router: reconfigure the wireless, and we are LITERALLY back where we started almost three days ago except it cost hundreds of dollars, took more than two full days and ridiculous volumes of frustration: and I STILL need to call videotron back to see about upgrading which was the ENTIRE hugging POINT!
But at least everyone and everything is back online, and I can finish watching voltron on netflix tonight...

Alright, so it's been a long day, and a long week: I brought out the bullit and poured myself a double. As I was walking away to go and get comfortable, my mother asked if she could try. She takes a sip and immediately recoils. It is quite powerful.
So I lock eyes with her and down it right then and there.
The look on her face was priceless. I wish I had a camera.

Just spent 36 bucks to upgrade my oculus rift system. Wall mounts on swivel heads for the lighthouses. Finally going to be able to configure the system ONCE and leave it, instead of every time I use it cause of the cats.
Edit: Splurgerific! I bought the third sensor, another wall mount, and a PCI USB card to run all the sensors through. Oh, and some thumbstick gel caps for my razer wolverine. I am apparently still caustic.

It was apparently a money spending kinda day: I bought a folding wall rack for clothes to install in the laundry "room" so we're not hanging clothes off electrical wires anymore, and I found a playschool heatwave for my nephew. Just need to find something for my niece worth about 15 bucks to be fair to everyone who qualifies for it.
