@  Maximus Ambus : (29 February 2020 - 04:18 AM)

Can't see the word PC without thinking woo woo!

@  wonko the sane? : (28 February 2020 - 07:13 PM)

Alright then. If it's on PC: absolutely. Learn how to mod it and go to town, totally worth the price. On PS4 or Xbox, sure; get it on sale and make use of the mod menu to change up the game. On the Switch: I hope you got the game on VERY deep discount, but still fun.

@  Jet : (28 February 2020 - 06:06 PM)

I'd say it is. I don't play on PC, tho; I play on my Switch.

@  wonko the sane? : (28 February 2020 - 10:37 AM)

Console or PC?

@  Benbot : (28 February 2020 - 09:52 AM)

Is Skyrim worth playing in 2020?

@  Paladin : (28 February 2020 - 07:45 AM)

when you use the character as a header image for a frontpage story, i think you lose the right to complain about anyone else "spoiling things."

@  Nevermore : (28 February 2020 - 04:45 AM)

Did I say that? I must have been joking.

@  Sabrblade : (27 February 2020 - 11:46 PM)

And you say you have no sense of humor, Nevermore. ;)

@  Nevermore : (27 February 2020 - 09:07 PM)

Gonzo, start a thread in the main "Transformers Discussion" forum with that information in the title instead.

@  Sabrblade : (27 February 2020 - 08:33 PM)

Gonzo, please don't go spoiling things like that in the chat box.

@  TheMightyMol... : (27 February 2020 - 05:53 PM)

Neat.

@  Darth Gonzo : (27 February 2020 - 05:53 PM)

Tarn is in Cyberverse.

@  Benbot : (27 February 2020 - 10:24 AM)

I really don't like that guy. Show the toys, not your face. I'm tired of looking at him.

@  RCX : (27 February 2020 - 09:25 AM)

Toy Galaxy is excellent.

@  Benbot : (27 February 2020 - 09:03 AM)

I think you'll be save in Greenland.

@  CORVUS : (27 February 2020 - 01:12 AM)

Toy Galaxy is my favorite overall toy-related channel on YouTube.

@  fourteenwings : (26 February 2020 - 11:29 PM)

Last year's coverage via Toy YouTubers was brilliant. However, since YouTube's new (unfortunately necessary) guidelines the companies barely invited any of them back, so all we get is super-popular collector's info.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (26 February 2020 - 09:19 PM)

If it weren't for Toy Galaxy's coverage video, I would not have known about the Defenders of the Earth figures. New toys of Flash Gordon, The Phantom, and Mandrake the Magician? In 2020? I would have said you were smoking something strong.

@  Nevermore : (26 February 2020 - 06:32 PM)

So the question is... has Madagascar closed down all its ports yet?

@  Nevermore : (26 February 2020 - 06:31 PM)

A couple that got infected attended a Carnival event with over 300 people in attendance.

@  Nevermore : (26 February 2020 - 06:25 PM)

So the Corona virus keeps getting closer to where I live. Several confirmed cases in my federal state already.

@  Steevy Maximus : (26 February 2020 - 02:20 PM)

Man, only having collector sites to get Toy Fair news from sucks. Did you know there is a 4" line of kids figures for the new Avengers game coming?

@  Dekafox : (26 February 2020 - 11:54 AM)

Since Omega already exists they could name it Auntie

@  Otaku : (26 February 2020 - 10:07 AM)

Oh, and one last Titan, provided we can fudge things a bit to include a character from Transformers: Animated; how about something at least resembling TF:A Omega Supreme?

@  Otaku : (26 February 2020 - 10:05 AM)

How about they find a way to make a mold they can use for both Broadside and Tidal Wave?

@  Maximus Ambus : (26 February 2020 - 02:13 AM)

Optimus Maximus, the mysterious titan of the Arisen, also Iaconus from Cyberverse.

@  TriBlurr : (25 February 2020 - 12:41 AM)

I think the only other Titan class character that would interest me after Scoponok would be Tidal Wave

@  TheMightyMol... : (24 February 2020 - 07:34 PM)

A Titan would have more room for other toys to hang out, assuming one has the table space for it.

@  Darth Gonzo : (24 February 2020 - 03:32 PM)

Play wise which would be better a Commander Class Aircraft Carrier Mode Broadside or a Titan Class Aircraft Carrier Mode Broadside?

@  PlutoniumBoss : (24 February 2020 - 01:53 PM)

I'd be interested in a deluxe or voyager Fort Max in Armada flashback red-and-green.

@  TheMightyMol... : (24 February 2020 - 10:49 AM)

I'd honestly be more interested in Commander-class Scorponok and Fort Max. I don't have the space for Titans.

@  Maximus Ambus : (24 February 2020 - 10:44 AM)

Make Commander class city bots to annoy collectors too

@  TheMightyMol... : (24 February 2020 - 10:43 AM)

Make two Broadsides. One Voyager-sized that only turns into a jet, and one Titan-sized that only turns into an aircraft carrier. Piss off everyone on both sides of the scale.

@  Rodimus Supreme : (24 February 2020 - 10:41 AM)

Since they seem to also go by the oh-so holy cartoon scale thing, he'd probably be a Commander Class figure.

@  wonko the sane? : (24 February 2020 - 10:34 AM)

Broadside is an aircraft carrier. He should probably be metroplex sized.

@  Rodimus Supreme : (24 February 2020 - 10:21 AM)

Broadside's more of a Commander Class.

@  Darth Gonzo : (24 February 2020 - 04:47 AM)

I think Broadside should be the next Titan Class figure.

@  wonko the sane? : (23 February 2020 - 09:38 PM)

I tan nicely! But also have a family history of cancer... so... yeah, pasty for me it is.

@  Otaku : (23 February 2020 - 04:22 PM)

I really do begin to get sunburned after about 5 minutes of direct exposure, nowadays.  Side effect of already being pasty then going on a particular medication.  Yay?

@  TheMightyMol... : (23 February 2020 - 01:36 PM)

It makes me burn. Accursed daystar.

@  Maximus Ambus : (23 February 2020 - 01:33 PM)

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy....

@  Vexwing : (22 February 2020 - 03:26 AM)

I watched L.I.L.Y.Cat on there a while back, it was surprisingly good.

@  Steevy Maximus : (21 February 2020 - 08:47 PM)

@Dekafox, no DTP, but they DO have LILY Cat ;)

@  CORVUS : (21 February 2020 - 08:46 PM)

For me, it's "chocolate therapy".

@  wonko the sane? : (21 February 2020 - 08:32 PM)

Tonight dough owns my soul.

@  CORVUS : (21 February 2020 - 07:28 PM)

Stupid, delicious Ben & Jerry's.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (21 February 2020 - 06:42 PM)

Ahh. I remember watching Bubblegum Crisis 2020 or whatever.

@  Dekafox : (21 February 2020 - 06:25 PM)

Next you'll say they have Dominion Tank Police and L.I.L.Y.Cat

@  NotVeryKnightly : (21 February 2020 - 06:06 PM)

Bubblegum Crisis, going by several shouts down.

Can the Earth King even be Fire Lord? Does the Fire Lord have to be a Firebender?

I still think there is some twist coming with the Fire Lord. Something we have missed so far. Not sure what yet...

But yea, best case scenario, Zuko and Mai are installed as rulers, Ozai dead, and Azula in exile. I doubt the Earth King will have either the gravitas or the fortitude to step up into any kind of leadership role.

Well obviously he wouldn't be the Fire Lord, just installed in the position as the conquering ruler.

The problem is, Zuko is not strong enough to be the leader of a nation. He's too wishy washy and could easily be swayed by a charismatic advisor. It would have to be Iroh because of his birthright or the Earth King as a conqueror. Nobody really knows the Earth King is a puppet ruler/figurehead outside of Ba Sing Se, so he could either man up or maintain the charade until a suitable regent could be appointed.

Well...There is still the unknown Fire bender who appears to be a young Roku who seems to be training Aang in teh trailer. Perhaps there is something going on with him to be learned.

I could see Zuko undergoing a rapid transition, perhaps not to a leadership role, but certainly rallying support against his father and/or sister if it came down to it. Some maturing event, IE, love, or the death of Iroh, or maybe even his father continuing to regect him.

I think Zuko, if he ever gets his **** together, would be a good ruler for the Fire Nation. After his time spent in the Earth Kingdom I think he's come to understand not only compassion but respect for the other nations of the world as well as finally realizing the wrong-doings inflicted upon them by his own people. Perhaps with Mai at his side and Iroh in an advisory role he could be shaped into a great leader for the Fire Nation, one willing to live in peace with the rest of the world instead of trying to conquer it (you know, the polar opposite of Ozai and Azula).

He's royally confused right now, but if he can get his act together I think he'd have the makings of a great ruler.

See, had he not turned on Iroh in the finale, I'd agree with you. But with what little we know about Zuko, I don't think he would be able to forgive himself for that even if Iroh did. We'll see once the season gets going, but I still think his misgivings will ultimately lead to his death.

There is a younger Roku in the trailer, but I didn't see him doing any training of Aang. There is going to be a flashback episode (or at least, part of an episode) that focuses on Roku and Fire Lord Sozin this season.

I am fairly certain the series will end with Zuko as Fire Lord. Iroh's the only other viable candidate, but he gave up on that path long ago, I don't think he'd have any interest at all in being a ruler.

Well, by himself, I don't think that Zuko would make a good leader. He knows right from wrong, but he's too emotional and doesn't think things through (hence his scar). That's why I think Mai would be a good counterpart for him. She's practically devoid of emotion, but she's very calculating and good at keeping a level head and making decisions.

I think together, even without Iroh (hope he doesn't die but he might), they'd make a good pair of leaders for the Fire Nation.

Also, just picked up Nickelodeon Magazine Presents #23, the Avatar Special. Great magazine with lots of comics that bridge the gap between seasons 2 and 3. Definately worth picking up if you're an Avatar fan.

My reaction when I first saw the young firebender who looks like Roku was that he is a decendant of Roku. Same with a few of my other friends who also love Avatar.

No, Roku has to be dead, otherwise Aang wouldn't exist; the Avatar reincarnates. (That's why the Fire Nation wants Aang alive. Killing him would just put them back to square one.)

Or, alternatively, he might spend the rest of his life (as Fire Lord) trying to atone for that betrayal.

If there's one thing we do know about Zuko, it's that he doesn't die easily. For him to die would require him to do the one thing he remains incapable of doing: give up.

Hmm...Evil Roku is unlikely, as hs been stated an Avatar needs to die to reincarnate, and also, Azulong seemed pretty dang sure Ozai was his kid.

Other developments, we see the return of the wheel-chair kid (forgot name) and thus his father along with an army of Earth Kindgom tanks as wella sfinally pick up on that Zeplin plot from the same episode at last. Given his prevalance in the games, I think it is likely we will see Haru back as well as Longshot and Smellerbee.

... The avatar HAS to reincarnate? ... says who... ROKU... its all a scam...

LUKE I Am YOUR FATHER!.

I can see the battle going something like this.

Firelord sits in shadow.

Ang tries to throw some rocks at him... they fly to JUST infront of the fire lord and he laughs.
"I've let this go on far enough" the rocks expolde, Roku steps out of the shadows. Ang is all confused but then tries to attack again... and nothing happens. Roku admits that He'd been projecting his powers outward and it was never really Ang doing anything.

that he Was SUPOSED to be the next Avatar, but his Cryostasis was close enough to death that the avitar "mojo" flowed back to its last host...reviving him... and making him a little crazy.

Ang decimated falls back on his Airbending ..but can't hold his own ...then his friends show up.

WIN/Happy dance to follow epic battle

but yeah its not likely

Attention Canadian fans: I've just checked YTV's schedule, and it looks like they're pulling a Digimon on us(*).

Avatar will be airing only on Friday afternoons at 5 in the Zone. It will not air on Saturday mornings, or (apparently) rerun at any point during the week.

(* They did the same thing with Season 4 of Digimon. After airing the first three seasons on Saturday mornings, S4 was consigned to an "after-school" slot that those of us with jobs and/or school couldn't necessarily see. [Yeah, I know that, after "Rika the Digimon Slayer," anything else was bound to be a letdown, but I at least wanted to know for sure.])

Hey, know where it would fit great? Right between Storm Hawks and Legion of Superheroes. Y'know, where they play Teen Titans reruns. icon-primal.gif Or heck, even put it up as a pre-Bionix slot, right between MAR and Naruto. Yeah, it's not "real" anime, but at least it's thematically linked.

YTV, I love you, but your scheduling stinks.

Anyone watching the Avatar Marathon on Nicktoons? At the end, they will be showing an "episode" called Jump On, which both recaps the series, and prviews season 3. It might be worth watching

The fourth season of Digimon wasn't worth watching, though... I'd have been a happier if they'd just rerun Adventure/02/Tamers instead (I'd still like them to to this day; though it would be better if we got DVD season sets).

However, this is what they invented VCRs and DVD recorders for; I don't see how it can be much of a problem for anyone.

Dagbabit! I need to get the Book box sets soon. I've caught most episodes of the first two seasons. But there are still some parts I never caught in reruns. No chance of getting and watching them before the first episode of season 3 in... 20 hours.

Avatar is very serious for what at face value is a kids cartoon. So I'm not to sure any major character will end up dying. Even if Iroh fits the wise fatherly figure who helps the hero and ends up dying to save the hero (ya know pulling an Obiwan Kenobi).

After the last episode of Book 2 I have no clue where Zuko's character arc is going. He started as a simple foil, but was really a boy trying to redeem himself in the eyes of a violent father, then he became heroic after accepting a simpler life. But everything was thrown out the window for a crazy half sister cause Zuko is apparently stupid and easy to manipulate (Ransack? Crumplezone? Waspinator?).

Avatar is the best thing animated for America since Gargoyles (okay since Megas XLR, but for very different reasons).

Rewatching "The Crossroads of Destiny" Today, in Zuko's final scene, the look on his face seem like he isnt sure of what he has done. So I think he'll end up coming about by the end of the season. Several scenes in the trailer make him look unhappy, escpially one shot showing him dressed in more princely attire.

Azula is very manipulative. As shown with her easily outwitting Long. She seems to have everythgin palnned out three moves ahead of everyone else. Its almost hard to fualt Zuko for falling for her. He was just starting to come around, but before he could really start down that path, she swoops in and offers him what he has wanted for so long. If he had spent more time on the path he had started on after his "sickness" he might not have fallen for it.
