My Cordon just showed up and the chest hinge is so distorted he doesn't transform. This seems to be a massively increasing issue in Siege and Earthrise to me - that the nylon plastic (mostly in black, sometimes in grey) does not mold correctly, and frequently warps or expands when being taken out of it's injection mold.
I think back to widespead problems with a similar joint on Ironhide, and some reports on Doubledealer, and endemic issues with Astrotrain (I had to go at Astrotrain for literally hours with a Dremel to have him actually transferred as intended).
I'm not suggesting that this plastic breaks as gold plastic did, but it seems to be similarly linked to widespread production issues that result in faulty toys, as was the issue with GPS.
Now we're in a world where Hasbro aren't even able to replace faulty toys themselves for the most part as so much of the line is limited and exclusive, does anyone else think this is becoming a pretty serious issue for the line? Either it needs better quality checking in the factories, or it needs the mix/cooling time to be altered.
