In MY dream, everyone at CPAC is nearly drowned in an avalanche of strawberry milkshake, before the doors finally burst open and they are arrested for all their various crimes, with their mugshots looking all sticky and ridiculous. Then usually some kind of giant cosmic wolf fights a bear while the tongue of a wooden chameleon shouts WIZARDS SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

I don't know if statute of limitations would apply to the ruling. Seems like it would only apply to the charges. But as I said, I don't know

Oh I mean on the eventual charges, the longer he drags it out, the lower the total amount he will pay will end up being. Statutes of limitations are ****ed up, massive fraud, tax evasion, sexual assault shouldn't be things you get a pass on because you're wealthy enough to block investigations.

Well he actually didn't say it, but it was very much a 'saying it but not saying it' thing. He promised to retake the House and Senate, and then a Republican will triumphantly return to the White House, "and I wonder who that will be."
