So my worst fears are confirmed. One of my roommates has tested positive. There are four of us in this house, so we might all have it now.
In some ways I'm impressed, as I managed an entire year without getting it. Then again, I don't know for sure I have it/got it. I'm going to hopefully get tested tomorrow, if I can't find a way to do it today.
I did get sick about a week or so ago. End of last month I think. But it was nothing but a normal cold that I could feel. it started Friday when I got home. I had Saturday off. Took Sunday off, then went to work on Monday despite not really feeling perfect yet. Stupid me was more afraid of putting everyone behind at work then just resting. I had Tuesday off though, and by Wednesday I was pretty much over it.
I never lost my sense of taste. No issues breathing. In fact I don't have a car so I use a bicycle to get to work. To a job I used to live right next to, but we moved into a house that is now 9 miles away from where I work. So yes I was biking 18 miles a day. I managed this even while "sick" so If I did have it, I guess I got lucky and got off light. Which is why I was so certain I just had a cold.
Now I'm really worried I'm the bleeping moron that spread it, and right now need to talk to my work to see what I need to do. Sounds like I'm going to be forced to isolate as I doubt there is anything else that can be done in a situation like this. I don't even know what happens if I end up testing negative.
EDIT: Yep I'm having to stay home. Will get myself tested and go from there. Guess I need to look into grocery shopping from home? I'm assuming the responsible thing would to NOT go out.
