Looks like that confirms that it's bogus.

ok, so these fake leaks have got me thinking, Hasbro could very well make The HM Juniors as pure redecos, yes? maybe some new faces of we wanna get fancy?
Fangry from Grotusque
Horri-bull from Weridwolf with a new beast noggin
Squeezeplay from Repugnus
Nightbeat/Minerva from studio series Cogman?
Siren from Chromedome
Hosehead from.....Kup? Octane? PMOP?

I mean I get that the answer is probably 'because of manufacturing reasons' but in a hypothetical scenario, why wouldn't Hasbro just use the already existing Headmaster/Titan Master molds for all those characters? I mean they'd still need bodies of course, but the heads already exist.

Neither this notice nor that article says where exactly these were found.
Nor did the guy that found them sadly. After going through hundreds of comments on Facebook, he only said "at a Walmart in the Bay area." Which Bay area, I will leave you to guess.
I did see a ton of the Wave 1 at one of my local walmarts last night, so I guess they are restocking and somehow got a wave 2 box out there.

I saw those guys at a Wal-Mart here in Indianapolis, so they've at least made it to the Midwest. The one near 71st and Keystone, for anyone interested. It was almost a week ago, however.

I guess I can understand Hasbro's desire to effectively utilize newer molds without the expense of recreating the old ones (and Headmasters ending up possibly twice as much).
However, I can't help feel these lines are more of a testing ground for future "modern molds in G1 style packaging".
I mean, I'm here for it, but how long until most of Earthrise gets repackaged and repainted and shoved into G1 style packing.
