Would It Be Terrible If Disney Owns Transformers

Disney owning Transformers?
Replace all the hand-held weapons with energy attacks and melee weapons.
or
"Disney Introduces The First Ever LGBTQ+ Transformers Character!" "Oh, turns out it's a background character easily edited out for homophobic countries." Lather, rinse, repeat.
But hey, at least they'll probably get rid of old character and introduce new ones! That's a fair trade-off, right?

So... GoBots, then?

No, we don't all know everything but we should spread and share that what we do know.
If I'm consistently misspelling a word, I would want and expect people to correct me as should I imagine all decent people who know the value of good literacy.
Its just arrogant laziness to know you're spelling a word incorrectly and not correct yourself or ignore the advice when people do tell you how to spell a word correctly.

So, it'd be a run-of-the-mill new Transformers continuity.Disney dumped a lot of Star Wars fiction post merger. No reason to assume wed keep everyone or everything. And if Disney did make a deal with Takara, with could loose all the classic looks.

Yes I know it's broken. It's an HTTPS thing and I haven't gotten around to dealing with it yet.

I dont think it would be a horrible idea if they can get ALL of the transformers.
One thing that bugs is that none of the streaming services have all of the Transformers cartoons. Netflix has some Cyberverse and Prime, but thats about it as far as I know. Be nice to watch RID, BW, UT, Animated or whatever.

Netflix used to have many of them, but some of their contracts waned.

If Disney owned Transformers, all the fiction would be like the IDW comics and we'd have a brand manager that insists the 30+ years of fans shouldn't be considered for anything.
So, pretty much like it is now.

And though it doesn't come up in that linked search, Tubi does also have Beast Wars.

As more than a few people have stated, this gross devouring of other companies and media properties is something to be generally avoided. As such, I'd rather NOT see Hasbro and Transformers gobbled up by the House Of Mouse, even though that would mean characters like Circuit Breaker were in play again.

Disney already has MASSIVE leverage over Hasbro via licensing. They bullied them out of buying Dreamworks and could pretty much shut down or redirect anything else by threatening not to renew the Star Wars and/or Marvel license.
Why saddle themselves with a toy company that brings in minuscule profits and shares one of their most profitable licenses with an even less financially successful Japanese one when they can pretty much already order them around.
