@  wonko the sane? : (27 January 2021 - 11:15 PM)

I don't remember one... But the original tmnt cartoon was just so long that I could very well be wrong.

@  Echowarrior : (27 January 2021 - 10:18 PM)

I remember that show too. Didn't the characters cameo in a Ninja Turtles series?

@  RichardT1977 : (27 January 2021 - 09:12 PM)

I'm pretty sure that Marshall Montana was voiced by the same actor as the title character from BraveStarr

@  wonko the sane? : (27 January 2021 - 05:04 PM)

I'm just happy I'm not the only person that remembers that show.

@  TheMightyMol... : (27 January 2021 - 03:56 PM)

Sounds like a spin-off for the Cowboys of Moo Mesa.

@  ▲ndrusi : (27 January 2021 - 03:10 PM)

Bat Canyon sounds like a parody adventurer hero character on a show-within-a-show in a kids' cartoon.

@  Rycochet : (27 January 2021 - 01:26 PM)

If it's any larger, the roof will collapse and it'll become a batcanyon.

@  Donocropolis : (27 January 2021 - 12:29 PM)

The Batcave got so full of glass cases for dead Robin uniforms that Batman had to move into a bigger cave

@  Rycochet : (27 January 2021 - 11:43 AM)

Mrs. King was Battman's deadliest foe, she killed 6 Robins, Robins you've never even heard of, and snapped Batman like a twig.

@  Paladin : (26 January 2021 - 10:08 PM)

Scarecrow plays the LONG game fighting Batman.

@  Steevy Maximus : (26 January 2021 - 09:17 PM)

I had to "delete" the download, and now the video is working correctly (as a streaming view).

@  Steevy Maximus : (26 January 2021 - 09:16 PM)

Strangest error? I downloaded the rental for Batman: Soul of the Dragon, and when I went to play it, it started an episode of Scarecrow And Mrs King. That show IS apparently part of my library (probably snagged it when Apple offered premiere episode for free), but I don't recall ever claiming it....

@  Patch : (26 January 2021 - 06:44 PM)

Not any harder than anyone else with an accent.

@  Nevermore : (26 January 2021 - 12:47 PM)

Question to all the native English speakers: Those of you familiar with Australian singer Sia - how hard are her vocals for you to understand?

@  TheMightyMol... : (26 January 2021 - 04:44 AM)

Calm down, Dirge.

@  Paladin : (25 January 2021 - 09:44 PM)

death comes for us all. what difference does it make how?

@  ▲ndrusi : (25 January 2021 - 06:26 PM)

It's only murder and that is all, why should I feel the way I do...

@  Rufus : (25 January 2021 - 01:37 PM)

It's only murder if it comes from the Murder region of France, otherwise it's just suspiciously deceased.

@  TheMightyMol... : (24 January 2021 - 09:17 AM)

It's only murder if they find the body, otherwise it's just a missing persons case.

@  Telly : (24 January 2021 - 02:31 AM)

so light yagami is a BAD role model? but ive already got a death note...

@  PlutoniumBoss : (23 January 2021 - 11:43 PM)

Do you always model proper behavior after anime characters?

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (23 January 2021 - 06:34 PM)

Don't forget Yu-Gi-Oh and the Millennium items.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (23 January 2021 - 02:51 PM)

There was a five season anime with wearing relics as the premise.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (23 January 2021 - 01:16 PM)

You don't wear relics, you enshrine them.

@  wonko the sane? : (22 January 2021 - 06:23 PM)

Wrong holey... and probably the wrong way to dress too.

@  Rycochet : (22 January 2021 - 06:09 PM)

If your underwear is old and holy, it is considered a relic and should be protected with your life.

@  wonko the sane? : (22 January 2021 - 02:04 PM)

That's the argument we keep making: but I still need to wait till feb 8th minimum to replace my holey underwear.

@  TM2-Megatron : (22 January 2021 - 01:57 PM)

Personally I'm glad Ontario wasn't so misguided as to try to define what is or isn't "essential" for big box stores like Walmart to sell. If someone is stuck at home literally for weeks and unable to go out, who's to say a new TV or game console isn't essential (if only for one's sanity) if theirs breaks down?

@  TM2-Megatron : (22 January 2021 - 01:55 PM)

Although fortunately, Ontario's daily cases and positivity rate has been on a steady decline for the past week or so; if they can get the vaccinations back on track, there is some hope.

@  TM2-Megatron : (22 January 2021 - 01:53 PM)

And as far as Canada's lockdowns go, I'm guessing none of them will end until late March, or perhaps the beginning of April. What small businesses that might be left at that point will be allowed to open for their going out of business sales.

@  TM2-Megatron : (22 January 2021 - 01:52 PM)

Unfortunately the CEO of Target Canada made more money by running the company into the ground than he ever would have had he made it a success, so there was zero incentive to succeed.

@  TM2-Megatron : (22 January 2021 - 01:51 PM)

Target made some serious mistakes when they came into Canada. They focused on opening like 150+ stores within a 2 year timeframe and had no online infrastructure whatsoever; their website literally only contained legal blurbs and a store locator... lacking even the ability to see what they sold in stores, or if it was in stock and, if so, where. They should have started with 1/3 the number of stores with a full online experience including online shopping and inventory checking

@  wonko the sane? : (22 January 2021 - 12:35 PM)

See; quebec is under a new lockdown, have been since the 26th. It's supposed to end the 8th of february, but probably won't. Stores are only supposed to sell necessities (in deference to the stores which are closed.), but the quebec government made no effort define what counts as a "necessity", only punished them for getting it wrong. So I can buy all the candy I want, but not underwear, boots, winterwear, small appliances. Hell, my brother had to explain why he wanted a FUSE when he needed to fix his stove shortly before new years.

@  wonko the sane? : (22 January 2021 - 12:31 PM)

Targets don't exist in canada anymore. They lasted like 3 years before abandoning the market. But even if they WERE still here: they would be under the same poorly defined restrictions as walmart.

@  -LittleAutob... : (22 January 2021 - 12:10 PM)

Target's better-

@  wonko the sane? : (22 January 2021 - 07:51 AM)

HA! my walmarts can't even sell underwear. There's no clearances going on up here.

@  Steevy Maximus : (21 January 2021 - 11:31 PM)

Check your Walmarts: Post-Christmas clearances are going on and I snagged Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered for Switch for only $5 (YMMV)

@  ZakuConvoy : (21 January 2021 - 03:15 PM)

*walks out on stage* Umm, I don't know how to tell everyone this, but Conway Twitty's been dead for nearly 30 years, now. So...*dances awkwardly as distraction*

@  tigerhawk : (21 January 2021 - 10:47 AM)

uh oh we need a distraction, ladies and gentlemen Conway Twitty.

@  wonko the sane? : (21 January 2021 - 10:20 AM)

*screaming internally*

@  -LittleAutob... : (21 January 2021 - 09:46 AM)

Everything is f i n e

@  TheMightyMol... : (21 January 2021 - 08:30 AM)

Everything's okay until it isn't. That's life.

@  wonko the sane? : (21 January 2021 - 08:12 AM)

Oh my god... I forgot entirely about yellowstone.

@  tigerhawk : (21 January 2021 - 03:32 AM)

Until the third civil war. Or yellowstone, whatever's good.

@  Nevermore : (20 January 2021 - 06:01 PM)

That's not true. An adult man is in control of the White House now.

@  repowers : (19 January 2021 - 03:18 PM)

Everything's out of control.

@  -LittleAutob... : (19 January 2021 - 09:51 AM)

*cough* w h a t?

@  Donocropolis : (19 January 2021 - 09:48 AM)

Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance they ain't no friends of mine

@  TheMightyMol... : (19 January 2021 - 08:52 AM)

You could leave your friends behind.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (18 January 2021 - 09:43 PM)

You could if you really wanted to.

I realize that Trump was an idiot but I assumed somebody on the federal level was doing something to contain the pandemic. But, nope, no body seemed to have done anything.

Realistically, they couldn't. Between trump himself refusing to act and spouting nonsense and propaganda, and the sheer volume of bootlicks between him and the world: no one person was in a position to actually achieve anything. Hell, republicans STILL don't believe the virus is serious and the only reason they've changed their tune is so they can berate biden for it.
Hmm, that makes sense. I guess the governors really were on their own. I wonder why he was fighting with them nonstop? I wonder if it was an attempt to distract at his own failing at handling the pandemic?

Because his own ego would not let him get out of the way of anyone when it comes to trying to combat this pandemic.  He was fully convinced, because he's such an idiot, that only he had all the answers.  It's why it's so easy to take advantage of him if you're smart.

Ironbite-he's an idiot.

And if someone came along that did really good at their job, outshining Trump & scoring more air time and headlines for a day, Trump would berate them & force them out the exit. He demands people be more incompetent than him so he looks like the smartest person in the room.

Geez, it seems the Biden adminstration discovered that Trump had zero plans for the vaccine distribution. They have to build everything from the ground up starting with local distribution centers. In retrospect, it makes sense when Trump said the governors have the vaccines and it's up to them now. He really had nothing beyond ship states the vaccine. I was just joking about them being that unprepared.

Huh, I thought everyone was just joking when they said Fox News would immediately become concerned with the pandemic once Biden is sworn in, but that seems to be how it turned out. Less then a day after Biden took office, Hannity is demanding to know what Biden's plan is for combating the pandemic and how Trump left him in a good position with the vaccines.

(per the article, Hannity WAS already starting the shade on Biden's admin "minimizing" the pandemic, because of course)

Legault wants to go back to regional restrictions in quebec. Which is actually a perfectly understandable move. Why should le bas saint-laurent (lower st-laurent region.) be stuck with closed stores and an 8 pm curfew when they've had less than a case a day for the last week? There's plenty of regions in the province where the virus actually IS under control, major cities not withstanding.

The problem with regional restrictions is now and always was the people. They need to create and enforce roadblocks to prevent unnecessary travel between the regions, and quite frankly: they need to treat it like going to another province or country. 2 week quarantine and two rounds of testing. YES, even if that means you're only driving 20 minutes up the road. It was proven the last time they tried regional restrictions that people are selfish and completely apathetic to the health of others. People WILL be asymptomatic, they will go to the bar and the theatre in another hugging town, and they WILL get everyone there sick because they're tired of sitting home.

But HEY! I'm willing to bet legault is still a goddamn hugwit. Let's watch him repeat history, shall we?

Turns out it was fake, but also just early..  the next day Hannity ran a segment about "Biden's disastrous first week" when Biden was only in office 24 hours.. and included the pandemic numbers.
