Another survey to see where people stand. I'm not saying there is only going to be one option, but if there WAS only a single option, or if a first option would come before additional choices, what do you like better? Light themes or dark themes?

I stick with Classic Purple since it's easier on the eyes, so I guess that would be considered a dark theme.

No, we don't all know everything but we should spread and share that what we do know.
If I'm consistently misspelling a word, I would want and expect people to correct me as should I imagine all decent people who know the value of good literacy.
Its just arrogant laziness to know you're spelling a word incorrectly and not correct yourself or ignore the advice when people do tell you how to spell a word correctly.

I prefer light themes because 99% of dark themes on websites hurt my eyes, so I stick with Classic Gears.
(I will say that these boards are in the 1% of websites where the dark themes do not hurt my eyes, but it's still my preference for light themes)
I'm basically the oppisite. I used dark themes becuase light themes tend to give me headaches if I use them too much.

I find that light coloured schemes attract less attention at work.

For me, the Classic Purple theme's darker background shines less brightly than the glow of bright white backgrounds, so I don't have to adjust the brightness on my monitor for this site as much as I do when looking at other more brightly-lit websites.
It's also why I use YouTube's Dark Theme that makes that site's background black instead of white.

This! There is a reason why 99% of all programmers use Dark Theme IDEs!

Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Are you telling me that tec has a job? I thought his sole reasons for existence are cheesecake and horrible grammar.-Shadowman024
