Ha! Talk about getting away with something!

@  Maximus Ambus : (01 June 2020 - 09:08 AM)

Carnivac was still an evil Decepticon at heart, and no one shot him in the back for it.

*stares at the light switch* .... I see what you did there

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (30 May 2020 - 01:40 PM)

I feel a need to lighten up the mood.... ;)

@  -LittleAutob... : (30 May 2020 - 10:38 AM)

:p

@  Maximus Ambus : (30 May 2020 - 02:14 AM)

Shockwave did it.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (30 May 2020 - 12:21 AM)

I'm not in the US and at least some of the episodes seem to work for me. I don't know the actual list of places it's available, though.

@  Shockwave 75 : (29 May 2020 - 10:37 PM)

Unfortunately It seems Cyberverse is only available in the US on YouTube.

@  -LittleAutob... : (29 May 2020 - 09:19 AM)

Yes, and its ongoing.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (29 May 2020 - 01:05 AM)

Cyberverse is already officially uploaded to YouTube.

@  fourteenwings : (29 May 2020 - 12:36 AM)

Spin Master is abridging current episodes of Bakugan Armored Alliance and posting the result on YouTube. Maybe Hasbro does that someday too.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 10:59 PM)

I see... :/

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 08:14 PM)

Within the US anyway. Those channels aren't easy or cheap to access in other countries, and their website often region lock content. Tubi is the only good thing on that list: largely identical (but not perfectly so. Damnit. I wanna watch COPS.) country to country and free.

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:24 PM)

So yeah, Hasbro is using plenty of venues to spread exposure of their brands

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:23 PM)

Starz currently licenses Transformers G1 and the GI Joe movie (as well as MLP specials). Netflix has more current series available.

@  Nevermore : (28 May 2020 - 07:21 PM)

Study shows: Holders of the title "world's oldest person" have a severely increased risk of dying.

@  Steevy Maximus : (28 May 2020 - 07:18 PM)

Tubi TV and Youtube both host various Hasbro cartoons. Both are freely accessed and ad supported. Any basic TV package (barring straight antenna) includes channels like USA Network, SyFy and FX, all of which regularly air the films from Transformers and GI Joe.

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 06:18 PM)

I dunno what to tell you, media might be changing slowly, but at least it's still accessible. Even the folks that DON'T get one of the streaming services can watch it on the company website. It's a vehicle for the toy line after all, they need to make an effort to make it as consumable as possible.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 05:41 PM)

Well. Thats said, then.... I guess... :doh

@  wonko the sane? : (28 May 2020 - 04:13 PM)

As long as the the cartoons are profitable, then they'll make more. The media it's shown on is completely irrelevant. I say that as a guy whose earliest surviving memory is a big red truck turning into a big red robot.

@  ZakuConvoy : (28 May 2020 - 03:06 PM)

Might be the end of an era. With the rise of streaming, who knows if Transformers will ever be on broadcast TV again.

@  -LittleAutob... : (28 May 2020 - 11:46 AM)

3 seasons on a show is usually enough... but yeah ;-;

@  Roddie Luver : (27 May 2020 - 09:37 PM)

I’m also sad Cyberverse has no season four.

@  Paladin : (26 May 2020 - 08:10 PM)

it's too hugging hot today.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

I'll agree with you on that.

@  -LittleAutob... : (25 May 2020 - 03:39 PM)

@  Steevy Maximus : (25 May 2020 - 01:37 PM)

I'm actually sad Cyberverse won't get another season. 2 and 3 (of what I've seen) have REALLY nailed it in being fun little actions shows, like the Sunbow series.

@  Rycochet : (25 May 2020 - 01:00 PM)

Yes.

@  Maximus Ambus : (25 May 2020 - 12:52 PM)

I'm waiting for Animated season 4. Am I insane?

I'm waiting for the next season to show up on netflix.

@  Sabrblade : (25 May 2020 - 10:59 AM)

@  Bass X0 : (25 May 2020 - 01:28 AM)

Already seen it online.

Welcome. I just came into that trick myself recently, so happy to share.

@  Nevermore : (24 May 2020 - 12:05 PM)

Thanks, wonko the sane? for the tip with the cloning. That helped a lot!

Heheh.... yes... I don't think a sniper would be very good at making a vaccine... 0.0

@  Nevermore : (24 May 2020 - 11:48 AM)

All right! Cloning my old HHD to an SSD and then swapping out the drive was successful, it would appear. Finally.

@  Bass X0 : (24 May 2020 - 11:30 AM)

Scientist Perceptor is. Sniper Perceptor less so.

@  -LittleAutob... : (24 May 2020 - 10:51 AM)

Perceptor would be more responsible.

Totally. And Percy's not even human. XD

Can't do much worse than our current government, I say go for it.

@  Sabrblade : (23 May 2020 - 10:13 PM)

Little do we realize that the Perceptor in question is the Mini-Con combiner. :p

He would!!!

A transforming ark, would be nice in titan class, aside from the just the routine direct from ship to robot, have it have a base mode that looks like the bridge of the ark or the basic lay out of the Ark from what we seen in G1, have the robot mode be more of parts former similar to Omega or Six gun & Cog, have parts detachable for play purposes, maybe make Teletran 1 computer console, the robot mode head so it gives an excuse for it to be able to move out of the way for some other scene that someone wants to create with their figures.

Raiden is the only thing I think might make sense for Titan Class at this point and I have zero faith that it will actually happen. After Scorponok I honestly think they'll probably just retire Titan class altogether.

As for a new Commander class figure, I'd like it if they made one who was a Micromaster base Modulator guy. I think it'd be nice to have one who gets to be bigger than a Deluxe or an accessory that comes with a Leader but isn't quite as huge or expensive as a full on Titan.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw the CW combiners remade at the titan Level.

How likely is it that Hasbro moves to redoing previous Titans?

On rare occasions, I have something to say.

I could see a transforming Ark happening in theory, probably much more if its only canonical robot mode in any continuity wasn't just "Omega Supreme Again." That feels like it puts a little bit of a damper on the idea/his chances.

One time, Takara claimed that the Ark transformed into Unicron. ;)

I think the concept of being educated and being able to educate is something that more people need more of in their lives.

No, we don't all know everything but we should spread and share that what we do know.

If I'm consistently misspelling a word, I would want and expect people to correct me as should I imagine all decent people who know the value of good literacy.

Its just arrogant laziness to know you're spelling a word incorrectly and not correct yourself or ignore the advice when people do tell you how to spell a word correctly.

Raiden I definitely don't see happening unless it was done by Takara primarily.

I think there are a few more Titan options, just not a "single" figure. Optimus Prime has been in nearly every size class, but how would a Titan OP be done? Easy: full Powermaster. A voyager cab($30) + a leader trailer($50) + a leader Apex Bomber($50) + a deluxe Roller($20) adds up to a Titan. (A Commander Class OP could be a new mold Star Convoy)

Similarly, a full Victory Saber set (Saber + "Star Saber armor/jet" + Victory Leo) could add up to a Titan.

Also WFC is covering a lot of pre-movie cartoon ground, but how could they ever cover the Dinobots in cartoon scale? Would need 5(or at least 4.5) unique voyager or larger molds, that would eat up so much of a line doesn't seem possible. But if they're just done as 1 whole set, as a Titan, that'd solve that! (With or without a combining feature, yes they were "just" done in POTP, but this would at the earliest be 2021, and plenty of other characters get re-done more quickly)

I want Raiden, but I don't see it ever happening due to him being a non-Hasbro character and the North American market (theoretically) uninterested in trains.

People keep saying that we in NA don't like trains, yet Astrotrain continues to get new toys....

That said, having a six-train combiner... I'm sure that concept gives Hasbro pause... they barely did Rail Racer (a mere three toys) back in RiD, although they DID follow that up with the Micromaster Railbots a few years later, so there's that....

I think having committed to the larger size (and $20 per toy price point) is as much an impediment as anything. I imagine that more folks would be willing to spend $5-10 per bot for six smallish similar alt-mode toys than they are willing to spend $20 each for that set of six at the Deluxe size.

Honestly I'm not interested in Supreme Cheetoring a smaller character by giving them a giant toy. I'm right out of that.

The other things mentioned above aren't in any way Titan figures. They are just Box Sets. We've had box sets, they're great and all, but for me a Titan figure really needs to have one really big robot mode somewhere in the 2ft tallish range.

-ZacWilliam, Maybe they should try another Crossover fig to double the Audience. Ghostbusters Firehouse changes to Giant Marshmallow fighting robot! ;)

Not very likely, at least in the near future, I expect they'll wait a good few years before redoing the titans, likely when they believe they can make them a bit more complex in regards to transformations and the tech has moved on considerably, the Unicron figure was a major gamble which is why it was crowd funded and how well it holds up as a actual figure is yet to be determined but I doult we'll ever see something on that scale again because the bigger the figure, the more likely it could break even if it passes all of the safety tests they have for toys.

No one argues otherwise, but if that was all that mattered, there'd be little to no effort to keep making him a triple-changer where one mode resembles a train.

The couple of times he's had just one mode (granted only Spacewarp / TCC AT and TakaraTomy Movie Targetmaster freebie) he's just been a shuttle.

If Hasbro thought trains sold, they'd be more or honestly anything that was a nearly identical import of an existing TakaraTomy product.
