I was just in a Target this morning that Popfindr said allegedly had 1 left. Of course, there weren't any, and a very patient employee with a hand-scanner checked the UPC code and said he had none, that no nearby stores had any, and there were none on order. I also noticed that the Target website had pulled their "announcement" emails, useless as they were.
At this point I'm sorry I got Starscream. It's a great Starscream toy, I kind of knew it would feel incomplete if I couldn't get the rest of them, I really didn't think it would be this impossible. I remember LAST YEAR'S Target Seekers having been easily located by everyone interested.
There are a metric buttload on eBay that, after the finder-fee, shipping, and tax, amount to a $50 markup. I just don't see how I can justify that. I could wait for the Takara release... which will probably be $70, and then BBTS will make it $80 and charge $10 to ship it, and then there's tax, so I wait like 6 months to save $20 or less. For toys that I wouldn't really have wanted if I hadn't bought Starscream. I almost think I'd rather sell Starscream.
