Well Howard the Duck is getting an animated series on Hulu, so he should be covered for now.

True. I think Tigra is one of those too.
-ZacWilliam, I wonder if those being Cartoons would make Marvel more willing to "double dip" and do a different version in the MCU than they would be for the Live Action series.

Yeah, I'm not sure.
Makes me wonder where Spider-Gwen falls too.
As I would think she would have been either with Sony or Fox, but at least Disney has the Fox side taken care of.
Unless she falls into her own thing despite being part Spiderman character part X-Men character.
Did you mean Gwenpool?
That's a tough one. The "idea" of her being named "Gwen" came IRL from Gwen Stacy but she is not Gwen Stacy. Not even an alternate version. She's just an entirely different girl who happens to be named Gwen Poole. Likewise her "hero" name being "Gwenpool" and the look of her costume were both inspired "in the real world" by Deadpool but the character herself has absolutely nothing to do with Deadpool at all origin or fiction wise.
So I have no idea how that works rights wise when on the one hand she was created "because" of Gwen Stacy and Deadpool but in actuality has nothing to do with them besides that inspiration. And on top of that she was created well after those rights were "sold."
-ZacWilliam, I would assume she's fair game, but who knows...
Yeah, I meant Gwenpool.

How long till they reboot the X-Men for the MCU? Seems like the next logical step.
In the long term, I wonder how much longer they will weave a single continuity before restarting the entire thing. 10 years? 20? It would be interesting to see a Marvel movie universe started from scratch with ALL the comic characters available under the same MCU2 umbrella.

We should not see X-Men till around 2023, as they have said they need to wait a few years since the current plan is already. We may see nothing till Phase 5 for them.
However, I do think we may see some stuff from the F4 before then, they can start using the vast pool of characters related to that a lot easier.

Would a rebooted MCU work in 20 years though? Trek was rebooted after 42 years, so the MCU would still have another decade before RDJ and CE stopped being IM & CA in the publics mind.

I'm more concerned with how the current universe is going to deal with

I don't know if it's really necessary to reboot the MCU, given that new characters can always take on the mantle of previous heroes. I'd be perfectly happy if it continued on, unbroken for as long as I'm around to watch them.

The MCU doesn't really need the X-Men, and the X-Men don't need the Avengers (and, I'd argue, work better without the Avengers around to spawn all sorts of fridge-logic questions).

I think the Marvel Universe works best as the Marvel Universe, full of Everything comic book: Mutants, Super Heroes, Magic, Aliens, Cave Men, Time Travel, Pulp Characters, Weird Stuff and all. The more it contains the stronger a tapestry it is.
-ZacWilliam, bring it all on and let it all play together.

If they did something like that, I think it would be neat if they had Wolverine as one of the Howling Commandoes, maybe even have them rescue a young Magneto from a concentration camp. But that's just me.

There is the problem with X-Men that a lot of the stories rely on mutants being a widespread established thing, which is not the case in the MCU. We are slowly moving away from "real world, but with superheroes" towards a more weird comic book-y universe, though, with the public apparently getting used to things like
