Answering this would get me warning points, and probably the topic moved.

But most of all, and probably most inexplicably...the Silver Millennium Crystal from Sailor Moon. *snip*
Yeah, it was a pretty bad McGuffin. I got into the original anime first, then when I read parts of the manga and they're killing the small-time baddies so easily and there's barely any character or redemption like in the anime. Oh well.
As for the topic... I think one char that comes close to pure hatred for me is this person:
I will never forgive you, you little- *gets dragged away from the computer before blowing up*

It is tough, as there is "love to hate" and just plain "hate."
"Love to hate" would be characters like Kefka from FF6, various incarnations of the Joker (some are better than others), Thanos, or even various Megatrons. You like the character, but hate them and what they do at the same time. They tend to be my favorite types of bad guys.
For "hate," I can't think of a ton, but probably Treize Khushrenada from Gundam Wing. Even David Kaye doing his voice could not save his character. I am just unsympathetic to him or any of his followers, and it made watching much of Gundam Wing annoying and is one I don't have much inkling to go back to. Granted, much of Gundam has that trait with unsympathetic bad guys (Zeon, Titans, Neo-Zeon, ZAFT, etc).

Most of the Celestial Dragons in One Piece. Usually with villains I either love them, love to hate them, or roll my eyes at how over the top "evil" they are made to try and sell them as a Big Bad. The Celestial Dragons are irredeemable scum in a way that doesn't feel emotionally manipulative or forced in an over the top manner even when they do outrageous things. Instead the story uses them to tap into a very unpleasant vein of humanity and mine it for all its worth. Slavers, bigots, wantonly cruel. They sit atop a hereditary aristocracy seeing themselves as gods who can do what they please to everyone else... and most of the time they can because if anyone resists the power of the state will crush them.
Hate is a strong word for fictional characters, but they are all too human monsters and whenever they get some form of comeuppance I'm pretty happy.
