I prefer to just ignore the prequels entirely. Not out of any GEEWUNNER-type sentiment, but just because they're bad movies.

It says a lot about how limited George Lucas' concept of morality is. He can't comprehend how a good person could become Vader and do all those horrible things, so Anakin must have always been an asshole who was fated to go down a dark path with the slightest nudging.
nah pretty sure he intended for anakin's fall to be tragic. he's good at coming up with ideas but he really needed people to tell him when an idea was a bad idea like they did in the original trilogy. also he just kinda has always sucked as a writer according to the people who worked on the original trilogy

Attack of the Clones had a lot of cuts and changes late in the game. It was originally going to be explicit that Obi-Wan thinks training Anakin was a mistake that was not going to work out. So a lot of Anakin's whining at least wasn't wrong. His senses were on to something.
But the movie was getting really long and really sluggish so they desperately hacked away at it. Why they cut some scenes and not others I'll never know.

I prefer my angels to look and act similar to Rei Ayanami but older of course.

Random idea; an aasimar wizard who uses glamours to fit in among normal society, but when they get mad or lose focus, the glamour slips. The rest of the party is used to it, so they don't react to a flaming wheel covered in eyes just trying to drink their mead.

Homeowner: *wakes up and asks rogue what's he's soing there*
Rogue: I'm your son. *high bluff check*
Homeowner: Okay!

On one of the games I'm playing, we ran into a bunch of ghouls eating some corpses from a wrecked wagon that was in our way. We were all prepared to fight, but our party idiot proposed negotiating with them and gave them a health potion.
The ghouls moved out of our way and just let us pass because of the potion. For the first time, one of his stupid ideas actually worked.

Train jousting sounds like something from a steampunk setting.
