XD Couldn't resist the tiny postscript. Not sure if I have much to say beyond what we've already discussed, but its also way past my bedtime. Will think some more later.

One major question is, how did 21 ability point characters feel? Was it okay having a lower default than the normal 30 or did it feel underpowered? Intriguingly, what do you think of the builds for the other players than yourselves?
In the end, I would like to return to this setting if all of you are willing. There are some potential interactions that could be explored.

I reread the IC and OOC and it is pretty digestible. The thing that stands out to me is that this campaign has a humor all its own. This is a fun read.
Separately, I edited in the NPC page to the first post. I'm wondering how well they read for the non players who were reading the campaign.

I think the main thing I wanted to test and in turn, the reason I feel I botched things was new Flight. I feel I put Ivy's parents too early in the cave so Flight didn't get a real test. At that, I didn't think of teleporting straight up, oops.
I noticed, but it felt more like a swerve than an omission. I expected to take part in the scheduled rain, so when the scheduled rain happened and worked against us I was caught completely off guard, and I liked how that felt.
And I still had my pegasus fun. I tried to play with how unnatural a pegasus might feel underground.
But admittedly, the cave wasn't as fleshed out as it needed to be and the scene still worked.
A fleshed out cave would have been fun but sitting around waiting to be rescued was a different kind of fun that hasn't come up in other campaigns, and I was hoping for this campaign to be something different.

As I recall my very first STOMP build didn't use all its points. It feels like enough. If anything these builds felt bigger. Maybe it's because the setting is so light and friendly so far. I didn't feel remotely underpowered for it. I think another part of it, and I have to keep coming back to this, is the special items on our builds. It may be a small thing but it is an extra thing, and they don't take up any points, and they're completely personalized. That one little thing feels so big. Watching the spice mix get used just made me happy.

Sign me right up. This felt like a pilot episode, and there's plenty on the map left to visit.

I think I'd be up for other brief campaigns like this.

A lot has shifted with me as a GM. Admittedly, a portion was trying to be careful with avoiding clutter from D&D style collecting everything but I think the campaigns have shown they can handle it. Especially when compared against the legion of NPCs. Something I'm deliberately aiming to be careful with in Friendship Gardens but I think the NPCs are at a level where they can be remembered but still expand.I forget if I mentioned this before, but the spice mix was an example of why I wanted EB to carry Specific Items at first.
I'd argue that the process was only slightly different compared to some characters. Admittedly, more for Mey Hem than STOMP. Still, I was aiming for workable sample characters that were still interesting.21 points felt enough like a 30 point build that I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said anything. But, a key difference is that we didn't build these characters ourselves, picking out each ability.
First, I'm glad you liked it. I was worried at first though that's more of a me thing. Second, it was a case of me trying to make info available since if someone picked up on it Light Heart could have been alerted not to have it rain in certain areas. I'm just hoping I did do well enough on having some of that info available.I noticed, but it felt more like a swerve than an omission. I expected to take part in the scheduled rain, so when the scheduled rain happened and worked against us I was caught completely off guard, and I liked how that felt.I think the main thing I wanted to test and in turn, the reason I feel I botched things was new Flight. Returning is interesting since there's very little of a long game compared to the other campaigns. Most plots will be developing as they develop instead of having multi year wait times. Which I guess makes sense considering the local focus.
