Within the US anyway. Those channels aren't easy or cheap to access in other countries, and their website often region lock content. Tubi is the only good thing on that list: largely identical (but not perfectly so. Damnit. I wanna watch COPS.) country to country and free.

Tubi TV and Youtube both host various Hasbro cartoons. Both are freely accessed and ad supported. Any basic TV package (barring straight antenna) includes channels like USA Network, SyFy and FX, all of which regularly air the films from Transformers and GI Joe.

I dunno what to tell you, media might be changing slowly, but at least it's still accessible. Even the folks that DON'T get one of the streaming services can watch it on the company website. It's a vehicle for the toy line after all, they need to make an effort to make it as consumable as possible.

I make an effort to wear my backpack on the days I do comic runs on my bike. It's a not insignificant distance and investment of time, so I dress properly. It's the backpack of holding from thinkgeek. I managed to get it for "free" a few years back.

 

Also: the my little pony series, and the nicklelodeon avatar books.

 

Edit! Riding! I was planning on taking a run today, but it was entirely too nice not to be outside.

Tired of feeling tired and fat all the time, decided to start exercising last month. I'm not using weights or running, just using an app with basic stretches/exercises I can do at home. Planks are hard! Haven't lost any weight but I'm feeling better in general. My right shoulder no longer hurts when I sleep with my arms under the pillow, and my back is hurting less. The app also includes face/neck exercises, and they do look/feel a little better too. I know I need to work on my diet to lose weight, but that is going to be the hard part. TMM shares my craving for sweets and he won't eat veggies/fruit much, so there's always junk food lying around the house.

Weight lose can come later: slowly build yourself into better habits by adding (then adding to.) a weekly exercise regimen. Get used to doing this stuff routinely, make the time for it. Then you build it, and yourself, up from there. YES: talk to TMM about his diet, your diet, and your desire to get into better shape/health. You might never change him, BUT if he understand what and why you're doing this: he'll be more likely to help the process along. Clear communication never stops being important.

 

As a note: you will probably not stop feeling tired, but it'll go from worn out to drained. Doesn't sound like much, but being tired from a good effort is a great feeling.

Didn't want to take a bike ride, so I ran! Frankly, I am thoroughly enjoying having the option.

And it's starting to feel really good too. Alternating between running and biking is helping both. I think I'll be upping my running distance to 4 miles soon.

Just realized I only worked my core twice last month :/

 

I'm also up about 5 pounds over the start of May. My goal was to be to 200 by June 1, not back up to 217...

May was a bit of a bust, I only did something active 11 days... partly from a cold/sinus thing I got right at the end of April, which lingered as a cough & sore throat for a while. And then there were a couple freelance rush jobs during the 2nd half of the month that led to 2 all-nighters (separated by about a week), and that kinda throws me off for days after... I'm getting too old for that stuff!

But, there was really no weight gain either during that time period, so that's a plus!

And I've managed 8 days of activity so far this month, so I'm happy with that! (And my swim last night felt really good and strong, so I feel back up to speed with that.)

So far in June: 3x 4 mile run/walks, 2x 1 mile swims, 1 arm day, 2 chest days

 

Miles: 860.25 + 14 = 874.25

Uppers: 33,820 + 120 + 600 = 34,540
Lowers: 16,836
Core: 11,565 + 200 + 175 = 11,940

This week was a wash. Too much family stuff and running around exhausting myself. Barely managed to do just face exercises a few times. Plus, there's a delicious ice cream cake in the freezer that needs to get eaten. XD

So a busy day denied me a bike ride yesterday, and rain today did the same. I got two runs in though, so at least I did get a work out.
