Those covers definitely make it seem a WFC: Seige tie in book. That could be good or could be bad.
This material has been covered a lot in modern times so unless they have a really cool fresh take this isn't an exciting direction. On the other hand I like anytime we dig into Cybertron culture so if they actually play with and develop that and do lots of creative worldbuilding then I'm 100% behind the setting. I just don't have a ton of faith that they will do that.
I do love the idea of the Comic syncing more to the toyline again as it provides a constant influx of new characters and at least theoretically the option for more nostalgic feels like the way the old Marvel book worked.
