Before the permanent late shift was introduced three years ago (which I volunteered for as soon as the form became available), I always tended to plan my vacation for early shift weeks. Since the majority of the people in most departments prefer to work early shift and thus tended to plan their vacation for late shift weeks, there were usually enough slots available for me to get my request fulfilled.

I was promoted last December, so this past year is my first with the company where I've been able to get whatever vacation I wanted. Instead of competing with 100 other people, there's now only 1 (out of 3 others who share my job) that's been in the building longer than me, and so has first dibs at weeks. It's pretty easy to work it out between ourselves before we give in our requests, though

I didn't mind the Mind Trick in Force Awakens though. As time's gone on, I feel it's less "She's inexperienced at it" and more "She's brute forcing her way into making this Stormtrooper obey", which fits the whole theme of Rey's dalliance with the Dark Side.

It works on a narrative level for sure; Jedi not liking to go full-Xavier because it’s a Sithy thing to do.

I was more agreeing with Betty about the overall power creep of Force users. To me, being able to read minds or completely control people is up there with the super speed.

Really enjoyed the making of season 2. Surprised they didn't talk about the Luke cameo at all though.

I'm always impressed with the life like lightsabers they've been using since The Force Awakens.

Only just saw the finale. Got spoiled but it didn't take away from the awesomeness.

Hey, Bo Katan had two Mandalorian with her but it was the female who got shot up when Moff Gideon got the gun, right? Did she die? And where was the male Mandalorian?

Hey, Bo Katan had two Mandalorian with her but it was the female who got shot up when Moff Gideon got the gun, right? Did she die? And where was the male Mandalorian?


Koska did get shot, but you can see her standing up later. We don't know where Axe is. Perhaps he's watching over the ship they acquired in Bo's previous appearance?
