Spider-Man on PS4

I'm absolutely loving it. I'm at about 45% and it doesn't really seem to be doing anything revolutionary, but everything it does is done well. The web-traversal is excellent, the combat is fun (once you get the hang of it), there's heaps of variety in mission types and yet I haven't found a single objective that's annoying or frustrating.
I got a "rare" trophy for using the fast travel five times, and I was like... only five? That's rare? But it's just so much fun to swing the whole length of the map. The fast travel scenes are adorable, but I've only used it if I was in a hurry.
Not super fond of their Peter design, but everyone else looks phenomenal and the story and character work is really great. This is the first game I've played in like two years that completely overrides my "put Overwatch back in the tray" urge, and if you'd told me a few weeks ago that it would be good enough that I haven't yet bothered to buy the new TR, I'd have laughed at you.
Can it beat GoW for GotY? I don't know, but as great as GoW was, I was still switching regularly back to Overwatch. So I guess I know where my vote will land.

So, if you are playing this game and have not completed the story, probably don't read this week's Spider-Geddon #0.
Super cool that they're bringing this Spidey into the books, but that one issue packs in a lot of late-game spoilers. Like, y'know, beyond "Otto goes bad" (GASP!).

Do they try to come up with an in-story explanation for how dirt-poor Peter Parker managed to buy himself 55 backpacks over the course of his school years?

In this way I think the Riddler quest works better. You're looking for stuff you'd find around Gotham and it unlocks a related story for the player. So find a Dent campaign poster for instance and get a story about what Two Face has been up to.

I'm at 75% now and struggling to imagine how they can fit the things I still expect to see into that last 25.

You can't miss any sidequests, HC. They're tied to achievements and no achievements are permanently missable.
"Disabled people don’t have special needs. We have very reasonable human needs. Our needs include freedom from abuse, violence, and mistreatment, the right to autonomy and self-direction, the right to represent ourselves, equal opportunity for education and employment, the right to accommodation, and societal inclusion and acceptance.
The need for accommodation isn’t a “special need”. It’s a basic human right. It’s a leveling of the playing field that allows us the same opportunities and chances as non-disabled people."
