a good start. a lot of intriguing consequences. I'd love to see more.
My only criticism would be paying more attention to grammar and missed words or punctuation, and one of the paragraphs in Vector Prime's section runs a bit overlong, but it's still very well written with good characterization and a sense of danger and looming disaster. I'm eager to see where you take this.
