The Last Jedi was the first Star Wars to underperform. (Well, the first Disney Star Wars. I'd have to refresh my memory on the box office for the prequels to be sure on them.)
Citation needed.
Wall Street Journal good enough?

*sniffle* "Hux, b-bring me my shuttle..."
"I will remind you that I am not your errand boy, Ren. And-...are you crying?"
*longer sniffle"N-no. It must be..be a bad line."
"You ARE crying! Aw, what's wrong? The ickle teddy bears too much for the Knight of Ren?"
"I SAID I'M NOT!"
Ren sounds more like Hux here, to be honest.

so... market analysts, and not Disney themselves?
"Disabled people don’t have special needs. We have very reasonable human needs. Our needs include freedom from abuse, violence, and mistreatment, the right to autonomy and self-direction, the right to represent ourselves, equal opportunity for education and employment, the right to accommodation, and societal inclusion and acceptance.
The need for accommodation isn’t a “special need”. It’s a basic human right. It’s a leveling of the playing field that allows us the same opportunities and chances as non-disabled people."

Han meets Hondo!

The cast of Episode IX has been confirmed to include Keri Russell, Kelly Marie Tran, Billy Dee Williams, Mark Hamill.... and Carrie Fischer.
“Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us. We were never going to recast, or use a CG character,” director J.J. Abrams said in a statement. “With the support and blessing from her daughter, Billie, we have found a way to honor Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX by using unseen footage we shot together in Episode VII.”

Interesting. I wonder what they could have filmed for TFA that would fit for a post-TLJ storyline. I could see some generic command post scenes being made to fit. Perhaps there was an aborted plot line that will be brought in now? Hopefully it meshes well and doesn't stick out.
Anyway, both Mark Hamill and John Williams are returning. Both are expected, but both are very good to see. While I liked much of Luke's story so far, I do hope this can touch up a few things to make it more satisfying. And I can't imagine wrapping up the main Skywalker saga without Williams.
Speaking of which, it is interesting to see this referred to as the conclusion of the Skywalker saga, rather than of the sequel trilogy. I think I remember them previously referring to the numbered films being the Skywalker saga, right? So I wonder what this means going forward. Will this be the last numbered episode film? Or will a potential Episode X just be the first numbered episode to not feature the Skywalkers? I think I'd prefer the former. Double digit episode numbers would start getting pretty clunky, I'd think. It also seems like a good, clear way to mark a clean break.

Han meets Hondo!
I want to marry this.
Fine... If no one is gonna say it I will...
That is CLEARLY Hondo's Clone Wars Design, when at this point in the timeline he should have the Rebels design.

NNEEEEEEEEEEERRRD
*adjust glasses* Actually....
Hondo appears with his CW looks in Forces of Destiny alongside Qi'ra and IG-88, meaning the timeline matches up. So there.

Forces of destiny's accuracy design wise is spotty at the best of times. They use her Later in the Clone Wars Design for Ashoka in scenes where she is written as if she just became Anakin's Padawan. (perhaps not from the one pictured below, but you know the one I mean, the one with Yoda)
And that's not even going down the rabbit hole of Anakin's mysteriously vanishing facial scar.
