Star Wars: The Clone Wars revival

I'm curious how this with Ashoka and Anakin is going to play out. I mean, she can't rejoin the cast or else there's going to be a LOT of hoops to jump through to get her out of Order 66's line of fire again, to say nothing of her appearance on Rebels and her duel with Vader.

My thoughts are "This is Lucasfilm finally doing something right, for a change, after all of the negatively surounding Last Jedi and its director and the head of Lucasfilm bashing fans online, this is a blessing and makes things a bit happier, for NOW."
While I know the basic story they wanted to tell in the later seasons prior to it being canned by Disney in favor of Rebels, doesn't mean that there isn't a story to tell, just because the outline is there, doesn't mean we know what the charaters have been saying on their adventures, plus we get some good action sequences (hopefully). Rebels to me, was not to bad, it could of been worse, thou its ending, kind of felt like they had to change things inlight of Rouge One being made, if Rouge One never happened, I suspect the Rebels series would of likely gone a different direction in its third and fourth seasons and have the Ghost crew obtain the Death Star Plans and get them to Leia, who funny enough, in the original movie, she says the ship did not receive any transmissions, thou called a Liar, she stated the truth because the plans were handed to a member of Leia's ship crew as they make their escape, thou Vader butchered those people, much to everyone's pleasure.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing Clone Wars return, more so than Resistance but I guess giving Resistance to some other studio to animate lets the people who made Clone Wars, go back and carry on the series that got the most attention and love.

This is cool. I'll watch it.
I'd RATHER watch a return to Rebels following Ahsoka and Sabine searching for Ezra.
-ZacWilliam, the more fun Cartoon whose ending we don't already know what comes after...
Or the proverbial ailerons of Titanium Moosebots?

This was an easy fix for them to make since a good portion of the episodes in question were in various levels of production when the Disney deal had them shift focus to Rebels. Heck there is the whole Bad Batch set of episodes they already put out in rough animatic form. Plus in a fun way they could be reusing the finished base assets from Rebels as the landing area in the trailer here was used in a couple of Rebels episodes which were originally planned for the episodes we are going to see now. It's a rather interesting cyclical turn of events.
I just wonder what of the remaining episodes we knew of before will make it back to these. I really doubt the ones including the Vong will ever see the light of day. I'm also curious to see if the next Thrawn novel could connect to these episodes.

MOD NOTICE: I moved The Clone Wars revival discussion out of the Resistance thread and into its own, here. And I moved the concurrent general franchise discussion into its own thread. See there to continue those discussions.
Meanwhile, relating to the subject at hand:
Woo hoo! I'm pumped!
