[Powered Convoy]

Optimus with Season 1 and Season 2 heads would make me the happiest chap.

 

I think that should be something they include.  As there's not lot they can do short of battle damaged beyond that.  Perhaps squinty or happy eyes.

You could make the eyes a separate piece from the rest of the front of the face and swap between Season 1 & 2 and the different eye types.

 

But that's getting a bit advanced.

There's also a tiny strip of non-window that materializes from lands unknown to give the windows back their missing frame edge.

Looking at it further, I think the chest windows are actually the backsides of the regular truck windshield.  I'm kind of wondering if the whole front of Optimus' torso is really on the backside of the truck's front, sort of like an insanely complex version of Powermaster Prime's cab robot.

They're real windows, and on his chest, so I'd say real chest windows.

Well, something happens to them, because his robot mode doesn't have windshield wipers.

On the Golden Lagoon stuff, I think I'd be more confident if the recent MP stuff (which I don't have) have widespread reports of flaking, and they're much more expensive than many of these.  Though I do have the Toys R Us MP Grimlock and despite frequently being played with by an eight year old, that one has no flaking issues at all for any of its chrome, so I'm not sure.

God damn that's exciting. Reminds me of Evasion Prime from AOE. It would allow them to use the same grill, but it's also the backside!

I think the only ones that have had issues are Ironhide, Ratchet, and the first version of Hot Rodimus.  Sunstreaker and Targetmaster Rodimus are good.

Anyway I'd like a Prime that matches the animation model and hopefully has articulation matching the recent MPs and something about MP-10's proportions felt off to me and I basically just got into collecting MPs so I guess I'm the only one happy about this announcement.

you are not alone, I was not paying attention to masterpeice in the slighest when mp-10 came out and it’s always seemed impossible to get / clashes with the newer style. I am very excited for this one, although I would really like them to pump out some cheetor sized guys instead of like giant expensive cool dude one after the other.

Yep.

One of my worst collecting experiences was receiving a gift card for exactly the right amount of money for Hasbro's release of MP-10, and then being totally unable to purchase one from TRU. Then the same thing happened a little while later with Soundwave!

So has any place put the Golden Lagoon 3 Pack up for preorder besides TakaraTomy Mall?  Seems like something that may fall through the cracks, as I would have thought there would be preorders for non-Japan based retailers at this point.
