Is there any Saintly Allsparker out there with a Walmart close-by with some 35 Anniversary Siege stragglers still on the shelves? I'd pay a finders/handling fee if anyone would be willing to pick one up for me. eBay is already charging double for him.

Yes. I played the waiting game with Omega, thinking he would be clearanced and ended up missing out, so I was excited to have another shot at him.

This is actually fairly new for Transformers from Hasbro, isn’t it? Hasbro doesn’t usually “rerun” stuff a year later. Maybe this is just another facet of their increased attention to the “fan channel” with the increase in Generations Selects.

Short of the repackaged figures from Siege to Earthrise, this kind of stuff is rare. At least for Hasbro USA. TakaraTomy and Hasbro Asia have done this kind of stuff before, but I can't recall Hasbro USA doing it unless it's a repackaged figure from one line to the next or something like the original Cheetor which saw changes.

Any sign or chance of TFSource getting the Omega re-stock? I'd rather get their free shipping since BBTS always charges me tax and applies it to their shipping cost, meaning it's never just $4 shipping for me.

Glad I didnt get the Siege version now.
But this is also where Im kind of torn. On the G1 styled toys, I want the best version to collect. Im not a completist anymore so I dont need every figure released. To me, that perfect version of Soundwave is MP Soundwave. Same with the Datsun Bros. Great looking MP toys. But with Soundwave and them, I feel the need to get the ER versions.

I dithered on the preorder for this, but this does seem like the definitive version, so hopefully wave 2 is as easy to get ahold of as wave 1.
